Nishikawa Ramen is a solid spot if you’re craving ramen in Phoenix. The broth has good flavor, I will say the portions are pretty big in my opinion . The noodles were cooked well, and the toppings were fresh. While it may not be the absolute best ramen I’ve ever had, it definitely hits the spot and is worth trying.

The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the staff was friendly during my visit. Service was steady, and overall it was a good dining experience. I’d come back when I’m in the mood for a warm bowl of ramen.

I had a good overall experience at this place. The person taking our order was polite, patient, and attentive, and made sure that we were served only vegetarian food, which I really appreciated.

They took the order calmly, explained things well, and ensured there was no confusion, which made the experience comfortable and welcoming.

The place has a nice and relaxed vibe, making it a good spot to sit, chat, and enjoy a meal—especially if you’re in the mood for ramen.

The food tasted fresh and well prepared, and everything we ordered was enjoyable.

The ambiance, service, and food together made for a pleasant visit.

Overall, it was a good dining experience, and I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a vegetarian-friendly spot with a good atmosphere.

We visited Nishikawa Ramen in the late evening and we were simply blown away!! I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and my dining partner had the Shoyu Ramen and both were very delicious. We shared the Vegetable Croquettes as well, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were gigantic and you could tell everything was extremely fresh. The croquettes were creamy and crispy, the ramen was packed with goodies. We will definitely be visiting again, and you should do the same!

After shopping at IKEA in Tempe we decided to drive all the way to NishiKawa to dine in. First time and I was very impressed with the service, food and location. It felt like I was in Japan again eating at a shokodo. Authentic and simply Japan style.

Excellent small place. Just enjoy the food. The service is quick. The ramen is good. The inside seating is small but adequate. This ain’t the place where board meetings will be done but it’s a place where friends go and chill over a cup of ramen.

The ramen is awesome! Not too spicy, but will tease your tongue and satisfy your stomach. Will recommend.

Super disappointed, they forgot the pork in my pork tonkatsu for both (2) entrees. They refused to pick up the phone during regular operating hours so I could at least ask about it. Even though I had a good experience previously, it will be hard to convince other people to dine here because of this. I feel ripped off.

I would have never heard of this place had a friend not mentioned it. My curiosity got the best of me and I had to try it.

If you like Ramen soup then this is the place for you. It is a small restaurant so space is limited. They also close at 230pm and reopen around 5pm.

The environment is cozy, friendly service and quick service of food. Decided to try their chicken ramen soup … the one with curry flavor and it was so flavorful for sure. I like curry and this curry was light so it didn’t have a strong taste which I loved.

Not to shabby when it comes to pricing but I feel that the serving size is on the smaller portions. When it’s compared to Cherry Blossoms in which there is a difference in portion size. I like hearty portions versus having a skinny soup.

If you want extras or vegetables that is extra so be prepared to pay for that. Otherwise, not to bad for first timer to this place. The only downside is no refillable on drinks because its canned soda or water or sake drinks. I was sad to learn that they didn’t even serve iced tea.

Happy dining and eating

I visited Nishikawa Ramen on a Monday night around 6pm. The restraunt was busy at this time with almost all the seating being used. My waitress came by fairly quickly and was very friendly.
I ordered the Tonkontsu Ramen, extra spicy. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to arrive. The ramen was very good, broth was tasty, and it was spicy to my liking. The 1 thing i think could be improved would be the quality of the noodles. They were a little thin, although they make up for it by giving you a little more in your bowl than other restraunts.
The total cost came to $16.29 and was well worth it. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.
