We went there for a friend’s B-day gathering. The experience wasn’t all that great. First of all when we arrived, the host didn’t immediately know about the party we were there for, but then gave us a section. Told us we couldn’t put the tables together, even though there was a party of about 16 of us. The waitress appeared to be overwhelmed, even though this place has been there 2 years, maybe she was new? They had a live band/singer who was awesome, though. We made the best of it, it is a small venue, so you would think they would have a grasp of things, but anyway we only had a decent time because of the friends we were around, but I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Firstly I loved the layout of the place. Beautiful decor and appears to be clean. The waitress came to help us quick and she was kind and helpful. Bathroom was clean. The dj was great. The food came out hot and fast which is fantastic especially because there’s a party. However my table ordered 2 orders of catfish and the cup of hot sauce had spilled on the fish and fries in both orders so please add a top when serving the hot sauce. Also the fish had a very nasty cod liver oil taste…. Which not sure why but I normally love catfish and it’s taste but that was over powering. The wings were cool… They were hot but lacked seasoning. The hot honey is comical, not what we expected honey with pepper flakes . The spinach dip was great. Overall I would come back because it’s a nice place and plenty of parking and space to move around. Lastly I felt that it was very sad to have to get my own water while the people drinking liquor were be served at their table.

Run here!!! This place is becoming a hidden gem. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a young lady behind the bar named cherish who greeted me with the warm smile and an inviting presence. I know I wanted to order takeout so that’s what I did, I ordered the honey hot catfish with my other side was the brussel sprouts which was recommended by the bartender. While I waited for my order I ordered a cocktail which was I believe a Hennessy Long Island that’s the drink that the bartender Cherish had said that was one of her specialties. This drink was really good and refreshing. When I got home I ate my food and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything that I ordered was delicious, I strongly recommend this establishment for its warm and inviting atmosphere and good food and drinks. I plan to return really soon.

I visited there for the first time, while celebrating my in laws B Day celebration. The atmosphere was great, the waitress was on point ensuring our needs were met . After ordering the food, the food came out in a timely manner, and was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend it, and will definitely be visiting there again.

We came here for brunch. We ordered Lamb chops w/eggs, Veggie Skillet, and the Lemon Drop Flight. Everything was good! But y’all know it’s the customer service I value. Ellly, our server/bartender, was excellent, attentive, and extremely courteous. Thank you!

Everything was delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing and clean and really modern. The menu is great with vegetarian options and classic favorites as well as some fancier options! I like the menu options! Our server, Chris, was Professional, on point and personable. Any menu with Brussel sprouts as a side has a chance with me! If you are going to offer them they have to be good! Keep up the hard work. You have a nice place here!

Decent atmosphere. Went for my cousin’s birthday and there only seemed to be one waitress and it got pretty busy for the size of the venue because our party had to be at least 20 in a reserved area. My food took over 45 minutes to arrive and it was a pretty decent shrimp po’boy although it came warm, not hot.

It is important for a restaurant to have real good service in order to be prosperous and that is not the case here. Either they are stretched to thin or they don’t have the experience necessary to handle the volume of customers here tonight. There are two servers and the bar tender , and it is Saturday night. The food is also not as good as it could be for the price, my appetizer came after my main dish and the drinks were not tasteful. Service is terrible!!!

I would have loved to give this place 5 stars.. Honestly this place was under staffed! We had reservations a week in advance for a large group over 10 guests. The original time slot reservation was rescheduled by the restaurant same day
for a later time. No big deal!
I called the day before the reservation to get approval to arrive early to do some decorating. I was told: Yes, that wouldn’t be a problem” We arrived 30min before only to find out the place wasn’t open! The hours on the door were the same as our new reserved time 4pm.
Why would you reschedule us for the same time you open. Only to not have any one there.. I began calling the restaurant numerous of times no one answering! This was supposed to be a surprise.. I felt awful knowing, I had people traveling from Chicago, IN, & suburbs to a restaurant not open.
Well @3:59 the manager Rose, showed up! After going over my frustrations with her. Rose reassured me that everything would be fine, she usually works every Wednesday mostly alone” I literally didn’t see anyone else inside. I asked if she would be cooking the food too?!
Long story short!
Rose made it happen she served the drinks food etc.. All with a great personality never showing she couldn’t handle the pressure! I didn’t like the fact that once the main course was served some plates were out long before others. I was near finishing my plate when some of our party was still waiting!
Another young lady started bringing some items out. Stating: She didn’t work for the restaurant” In the end: I don’t think this restaurant had proper prior planning for our large party! We helped moved tables, who makes reservations for a large party to have everyone sit separately!
The place has a nice atmosphere. The food and drinks are good! A- DJ came in later in the evening to set up for house music in the same area of our party. Rose was always respectful in asking if it would be okay. In the end:
Maybe the restaurant should be renamed Roses Place’ she did an amazing job of making sure we were happy! Yet, why put that much on one person.. Overall we had a great time! This place has great potential..
