Came here based on all of the reviews for the first time to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. We had a reservation for 8pm and had to wait almost 30 minutes for our table so definitely make a reservation. Food was amazing! The octopus chicharon is a must! Shorting was delish!! Daniela was super sweet and recommended great choices. Wil definitely be coming back.

I visited Taikin today for the first time. From the moment you walk in, this place delivers an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is a creative fusion of Japanese precision and vibrant Latin flavors, offering everything from artfully crafted small plates to inventive sushi rolls that are perfect for sharing your favorite ending with your favorite coffee. Our server Leo, made the experience even better, friendly and knowledgeable, helping guide the menu choices and cocktail pairings. Casual yet elevated, this spot hits the sweet spot for a memorable meal with friends or family. We would definitely come back.

Taikin Asian Cuisine is a vibrant spot that brings bold flavors, creative fusion, and an energetic atmosphere to the Doral dining scene. From the moment you walk in, the modern décor and upbeat vibe set the tone for a fun and memorable meal, whether you’re out for a date night, a celebration, or dinner with friends.
The menu is diverse and thoughtfully crafted, blending Asian classics with a contemporary twist. Sushi is a clear highlight — fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Signature rolls strike a great balance between creativity and comfort, while the hot dishes deliver rich sauces, tender proteins, and satisfying portions. Everything feels well-seasoned and made with care, which keeps the experience consistently enjoyable.
Service is friendly and attentive, even during busier hours when the restaurant comes alive with music and conversation. While it can get lively, that energy is part of Taikin’s charm and adds to the overall experience. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the quality of the food, the presentation, and the atmosphere make it worth it.
Overall, Taikin Asian Cuisine stands out as a stylish, flavorful destination that delivers both great food and a fun dining experience in Doral.

Came here to celebrate my younger sister’s birthday and had a great time. Ordered the Coconut soup along with the Sakura roll, would definitely recommend them, though beware the soup is pretty spicy (though that’s a plus in my books). I was attended to by Quintero who came by the table often enough to meet me and my family’s every need. Had a great time here and will definitely come in the future.

Food was exquisite. The drinks were really good! The atmosphere was really nice but the service is quite slow and servers need more training or need to concentrate in what they are doing. But overall I recommend this place.

Always a great experience Taikin. Our waitress, Daniella, was so attentive, professional, and kind. We had the lunch special (crispy fish tacos, shrimp ceviche, American crispy roll, Miami roll, Asian caipiriahna, Lychee martini, tres leches and passion fruit dessert). Food came out fast, everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

We recently visited this restaurant, we went excited about Tanuki Fest, and while it wasn’t bad, it definitely didn’t impress us.
The menu felt quite limited , there were only a few main course options, four of them being sushi rolls with very basic flavors, plus one burger. We were expecting something more creative and exciting for a festival concept.
The ceviche we ordered came with just two tiny pieces of tostones that honestly looked like they had been bitten, the salmon coquitos were quite good, and the desserts were enjoyable as well. Unfortunately, those were the only standout items for us.
Overall, it felt more like a dressed-up lunch special, but at a price point that didn’t quite match the quality or flavor , especially considering the many great dining options available in the area.
