Think twice before going to this restaurant and modifying any your food to your liking. Especially if you do not speak Spanish! The cook and cashier will start speaking Spanish after you order and threaten to do so stuff to your food! They thought I didn’t speak Spanish! I brought it to their attention.. made the customer who had ordered aware of what was going on and left that place. Never again!

Fair prices from what I can tell. The restaurant looks and smells clean from what you can see. I’ve been here a few times and it’s always decent. This last time I was by, I got the potato tacos and some asada fries. The potato tacos were pretty good, pretty basic. The Asada fries were okay, they did have a decent amount of meat on them. But that “guacamole” is no good!!
Worth trying, but there’s lots of other great Mexican food places in the high desert to check out.

TACO GRANDE HAS the best enchiladas in the high desert I’ve tried other “Mexican “spots out here out here and they’re salty flavorless or the salsa does not taste Mexican authentic at all. I like to order the chicken one and they use the best pulled chicken I get them either red or green neither are Spicy and I ask for extra red salsa hot and green tomatillo salsa on the side and pour it on the enchiladas and my rice and beans!! Prices are great too I only order my enchiladas from here !! Super home made food and this is coming from a Mexican , even my son whos 2 has ate the enchilada combo with me he loves them

I usually always receive outstanding service, and the food is great. However, during this visit this employee (unwilling to tell me her name) was extremely rude, she doesn’t speak English and had another woman who is also an employee translate my order. When I received it , it was wrong and my order was given to the person ahead of me. When I asked for a correction the employee was rude and snatched my food and the bag away from me, and told me I’m wrong that’s what I ordered, despite my receipt saying otherwise. She then walked away speaking in Spanish. When she returned she started speaking to me (a black woman) in Spanish again, I then told her to just give me a refund. She refused and just starred at me, & was insinuating that I’m trying to fight her before calling over the woman who translated my order.. This woman’s customer service is disgusting and unwelcoming. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 2 years and have never experienced anything as disgusting as this.

The location of this taco spot ok price little high for street taco. Now after I’ve tasted the tacos and to have the name taco in the name not worth the price. The meat have no flavor and even added extra salsa to give it flavor but still ok.

I got home, ate my sope and started eating my burrito when I found a long strand of hair in my burrito. I decided not to pull the hair out plus it was hard since it was tangled in the cheese. I called and went back for a refund. I requested a full refund for the entire order but the owner declined since I already ate the sope. I believe I should have received a full refund for the dissatisfaction and loss of appetite I’ve experienced but some things don’t go as expected. If I could leave a 0, I would. PLEASE WEAR HAIRNETS!

After reading some reviews, I would like to start by saying that I respect all kinds of opinions even when I do not agree with some of them. Taco Grande is a small restaurant that offers great food at a reasonable price, considering that everything, absolutely everything today costs us double or more than it did four years ago. Taco Grande retains the flavor of its dishes that have made it known over the years. It also has very respectful and friendly staff.

Store is in a small strip of 3 stores, two of which are shut down. Ordering was quick and cashier was friendly and helpful. Our food took a while to get with only 1 other customer and a take-out customer waiting. You no longer get chips & salsa for dine-in orders. Food was decent at best, my burrito looking good sized on the outside, was wrapped in two tortillas to look big. Taste was ok. Wife had a combo plate and beans were good. I’m afraid this place has fallen into what a lot of other places do. Cutting ingredients/quality is a recipe for disaster!
