First time going to Charlies on Main and I have to say the food was delicious seriously the rib eye steak was cooked to perfection the steak gravy sauce was perfect topper not that it even needed it. My wife got the blackened blu bacon burger and it was also very good. Highly recommend cool casual feel cozy se went in sweatsuit and felt right at home. Enjoy!

First time stopping into this restaurant from recommendations by other family members. Just the other side of Milford for us so not too far. I got to have the Still Chicken Sandwich and seasoned fries which was very good! Other family members picked out mac and cheese, steak, salad and it all looked delicious. Our servers Alicia and Sydney were both courteous and attentive while also not being overbearing during the meal.
This place has a huge selection of whiskey and features a lot of historical barn wood integration for its fixtures and tables. Very nice restaurant!

My Wife and I just finished up a week-long “staycation” and we visited Charlie’s twice. In the last year I’ve grown to appreciate whiskey – and Charlie’s delivers on that. Their selection is enormous. Over 400 pours I think? Bourbon, rye, scotch, Japanese, Canadian, and Irish whiskeys. And the pricing is extremely fair. Their “flight of the week” is tremendous value. During my recent visit it was a mix of Green River and Bardstown whiskeys. I also enjoyed a pour of Russell’s Reserve 15.
In addition to the whiskey, the food was incredible. The southern fried chicken and mashed potatoes, just wow. The walleye breading is incredible. The catfish bites are the best I’ve ever had. Their kitchen has yet to let me down.
Our servers have always been excellent. They are prompt and knowledgeable, and check in just often enough.
Lastly, I’m not a huge live music guy, so I really appreciate the patio in the summer. It makes for a great evening in downtown Milford. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular patron here.

Our favorite place! Delicious southern fried chicken, mashed potato’s and everything else I’ve tried. Don’t miss out on the deviled eggs appetizer! Great selection of bourbon although my favorite drink is Charley’s Vacation! Tropical deliciousness. It’s always busy and you’ll know why once you try it!

I had the western old fashioned and it was mixed perfectly. We had the fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs as appetizers and both were delicious. I had the walleye and my wife had the Nashville hot chicken. Both were delicious. Pros: phenomenal bourbon selection, delicious food, nice atmosphere. Cons: a bit loud, floor was dirty around our table (pieces of food, etc).

A great casual dining experience. Our first time here with nice live entertainment! Food was excellent I had the Walleye which was so fresh and prepared to perfection. My hubby had a braised pork Burgoo dish and said it was also delicious! Our wait staff Eva was very attentive. I would recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Charlie (owner) was gracious and very pleasant. He greeted us as we came in. He gave all of us a complimentary cocktail ticket and told us our table number. What a very likable character. Just friendly and warm.
We had a great time being able to be a part of the “Detroit City” bourbon tasting. All the Bourbons were chosen to be consumed with mouthwatering treats.
The food tasting was specially designed to pair with the Bourbons that we were tasting. Two Faced, Butchers Cut, 10 Year Anniversary. They even brought out a special selection of bourbon “Toasted Barrel” at the very end, along with a special cream paczki.
The meal was delicious. What a treat to be a part of this event. I’m hoping to be on the guest list again.

Great southern food and drinks! Just moved to the area and have already been here twice. Great atmosphere and enjoyed live music here on a Tuesday night. Have tried the crab cakes and mac and cheese so far. Highly recommend the lobster deviled eggs. Really great place for a night out in downtown Milford.

I have eaten here a couple of times for dinner before but this was my first time here on a Sunday with my mother. I can’t believe we have not been here on a Sunday!!! The food is delicious!!! I think it’s a great place for a Sunday!!! The Breakfast Brown was so good!!! There was a perfectly fried egg on top but I ate it before I took the picture.
The server recommended the maple syrup with the meal and it was so good. I probably use better and more diverse descriptive words but “so good” just keeps coming to mind!!! We will definitely be coming here again on a Sunday!!! I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this place!!!

I decided to go here tonight to celebrate my birthday with my cousin. It’s my second time visiting, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. I had a great experience the first time and I was hoping tonight’s visit would be just as good. It was even better. This place so the real deal. The food is delicious (juicy burgers, fresh salads, the jambalaya is perfect). The only thing that could possibly rival their food would be their customer service. I specifically want to acknowledge Vampire and John for their attentiveness and hospitality. We also spoke with a very kind woman who stepped out of the kitchen just to confirm a few details about our orders. I had asked for a few modifications and my cousin has a gluten allergy. I always hate to ask for alterations, but they were super cool with it and really wanted to accommodate us. The ambience is beautiful, chill and fun. The amount of bottles on their wall are mesmerizing. Aside from all of that, we were able to enjoy great live music. The artist’s name was Jason, I can’t remember his last name, but he performs there regularly on Wednesday evenings. It didn’t hurt that they threw in some free dessert to help me celebrate the last year of my thirties! I moved to Michigan only eight months ago and I’ve found a few places that feel like home.
