Ahhhmazing authentic Italian pizza. Homemade fresh Italian mozzarella, sauce, and bread. Locals recommended it to us. The kitchen is open where you can see your order prepared and fired under open flame in a beautiful tiled oven. We were welcomed in and an appetizer platter was put before us while we perused the imaginative menu. The owner and staff had such positive energy and attention to detail. So delicious! Nothing for leftovers, we ate it all! You must try!

The food smelled so good we dived in before photos. This was amazing pizza, the owner Johny is a Finnish gentleman with an Italian accent owing to living and mastering pizza there for many years.
It shows in his work, it was the best pizza of my life, yes better than mom’s (sorry). I’ve been there once so I really hope others have this experience.
It was the best pizza starting with chewy fluffy dough baked just right, then a zippy tomato sauce which was good and flavorful, but not perfect. The ingredients were excellent, the mozzarella buttery and slightly sweet and salty just as I like and thick cut pepperoni.
Thanks Jonny for an amazing lunch, I definitely over ate.

Oh my goodness, my husband and I love Johnny’s Heist and it’s our favorite place to take people! It’s truly a foodie experience. The food is delicious, Johnny is so excited and interactive, and the views are awesome. This is hands down the best pizza you will ever have… it’s best fresh and served in the restaurant. As Johnny is the only one making pizzas right now, there sometimes is a little wait, but it is totally worth it! Just be kind and patient.

Found this place on google maps while at the ocean center. They have only been open since Thanksgiving and the menus os still excellent for pizza and expanding. I had the Johnny Special with bacon, pepperoni and spicy pizza oil. It was excellent. My wife got the Mama Mia also excellent. The chef was present and came out to talk, and share samples of possible future dishes. He is from Finland but trained for four years around Naples Italy. His passion for food just shows in all the tasty treats we had plus our pizza. Got several pictures of the restaurant and one with the chef. When I come back to visit Maui I hope to see this place still booming in business.

We wanted to like this so much more. Perhaps Neapolitan just isn’t our personal favorite style of pizza or maybe we had unreasonably high hopes based on previous reviews. You can tell that the ingredients are all very fresh and high quality. There was just too much sauce and almost too many flavors going on in the sauces. We had a cheese/pepperoni pizza and a The Ultimate Heist. The pork on the ultimate pizza was excellent though, and I was wishing I’d listened to my husband and ordered the pulled pork platter instead of the pizza. If you like Neapolitan style pizza though, you’ll probably love this place.

Food is the best part, really good pizza. Could of been sliced better. It’s BYOB, just water and soft drinks available. Communication to customers were kind of lacking. Server was a bit under experienced in letting customers know wait times. There was a server change as well, which other customers were not informed of by the new server. Atmosphere is nice with crooner type music playing in the background. Overall I enjoyed my time there.

I’m amazed not only by the quality of pizza there but it’s hard nowadays to find people that are truly passionate about their job.
We had a chance to chat with him and I can tell how much passion and work he puts into it.
This is by far the best pizza place I’ve ever been to. Service was AMAZING- we will be back for sure and since we live on Maui- that will be our regular spot to go to.

I was looking for a place to get online. The outside seating is lovely. And the guy at the front desk was so helpful and kind, not even trying to get me to buy – just helping me with wifi and power.
When the single mother next to me received her chicken sandwich, that was a deconstructed incredible Viking plate of divinity!
So I went to check, as not eating bread and cheese – I thought I was out of luck at a pizza place.
The pulled pork sandwich was amazing! The presentation was phenomenal and the flavors and taste better than it Looked, if that’s even possible.
And I could have what I wanted from the platter, that was overflowing!
The kindness and service was remarkable. Complimentary treats! And view of the ocean harbor, with whales breaching – make an experience I will highly recommend to my ohana here on Island.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! Right when we sat down we were greeted with a beautiful board of bread, cheese, salami, pork, and more! The owner/chef said he gives it to every table as a taster for what the menu is like. Not only was each bite absolutely delicious, but it all tasted so fresh! When the pizza came it was giant and tasted like it came straight from Italy. I’m picky about my pizza and this is some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! It’s an absolute must to go here!!!!

Probably the best pizza we’ve had since Italy. Super authentic. Amazing ingredients. Incredibly enthusiastic owner… And since today was Christmas Eve they went out of his way to make the experience expert special and even gifted us a bottle of their delicious spicy pizza oil Indoor and outdoor seating options. Great spot for large groups or for a nice intimate date. There were 3 in our party that are vegetarians and all were happy with the menu options. Highly recommend. Plenty of parking. We live on Maui and are very happy to have a new go-to spot!
