Went through the drive thru to place an order. Made my order. Paid 28$ for two chicken sandwhich meals with macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. Requested sauces. The containers were hardly full. Dry macaroni and cheese. No sauces that i requested all after waiting 15 minutes for my food. I’ve wondered why I rarely see people there. Now I know why. Long wait times, crappy and dry food.

Nothing consistent EVER with this Popeyes. I know better that I’d better check the food before leaving. Today I didn’t, chicken greasy and brown, shriveled from being out to long. Why would any employee put that out? The red beans and rice was strangely thinned out and watery. That was a whole new experience. Finally done. Never again.

Really disappointed with my recent order. I ordered boneless wings, but when they were supposed to be delivered, I got a message saying the item was unavailable – even though it was still listed as available in the app. This is frustrating because I planned my meal around it. I understand things run out but not everyday, but the app should reflect real-time availability. I hope they fix this issue for future orders. Even there’s no proper support.

I come from there, an African-American teenager served me… please don’t take it as racism, I’m dark-skinned, Latino… but he told me that they only had wings, I ordered a 4-piece combo and he charged me 19 dollars for something that is really disgusting. .. the cold potatoes, the cold chicken, everything is very bad… I have been told that this place is good, it is some places, but the one in forest city is terrible.

I put my orders in roughly 15 minutes every time I eat here, but the past few weeks, I go in and the employees look at me like they’ve never seen my order before, then tell me it’ll be ten minutes. Are they not even watching the orders come in?

I have always liked Popeyes chicken. I never have any issues when we visit this location. We always go inside to order, and I would like to say how courteous everyone is there. I barely like to get fast food anymore, but always look forward to the employees. A+. Thank you!

I was disappointed with the popcorn shrimp and chicken tenders. It was mostly batter. The tenders and the shrimp had very little meat but a lot of batter. Definitely not worth the price. The coleslaw slaw was bad too.

FOR PEOPLE WHO MAKE $15 AN HOUR OR MORE.
When I went it was Sunday night when I got there there was no one in the parking lot except for cars of people who work there, Within a couple of minutes two cars went through the drive-thru with no problem, I heard them say “Can I take your order” as soon as they pulled up. So I can already tell it’s going to be a restaurant where most of the people go through the drive-thru instead of going in.
Yet I went in it was clean NO roaches like in some established restaurants in the area…..
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I do not eat spicy food so I got the honey barbecue, tasted all right to me.
But wow is this place expensive. I did not get a family dinner and it’s perhaps a good thing I did not very very pricey for a fast food restaurant.
Working man’s menu was high but not as high as I thought it would be. Only about a dollar or two higher than what you would pay at another chicken place.

It is easy to get to as it is just off highway 74 in Forest City ( also known as college avenue) it is across from a car dealership and in front of and just to the the right of Lowe’s.

The slowest place on earth. Order online 10 minutes ahead. Show up and still wait 30 more minutes. This is the 3rd time it’s happened. Can’t be that hard to make some chicken and hand it out a window.
