Ever since Redbury has dissolved and the Aster social club has come to be, The Lemon Grove has been our new rooftop as Hollywood locals. I was on a date night here with my husband This has to be one of the best spaces to not only have Rooftop, but also organically sensitive cooking in one space.
Im happy to celebrate this menu and apparently so does Selena Gomez as her show Selena+Chef was such great episode that it reminded me to go to Lemon Grove more. It also was cool to see her meet Chef Marcel Vigneron to learn molecular gastronomy and I would love to meet him one day. We only live 5 blocks away on Whitley. Dinner was amazing, and my husband and I had the best server is named Taylor and she’s been here 2.5 years. We loved her and how she curated our fantastic evening. We recommend the branzino, as well as the impeccable brussel sprouts. Thank you for what you do Lemon Grove, Im glad you have seating at your bar area now and happy to see yoru space with the one and only Jessica Simpson in All’s Fair. You are all doing something very right and this hard work makes me proud to be your Hollywood local neighbor! We love it!

Great rooftop brunch spot in Hollywood with a relaxed vibe and beautiful views of the Capitol Records Building. The setting feels upscale but still comfortable, perfect for a weekend outing.
We enjoyed fresh oysters, a bright kale salad, rich eggs Benedict, and fluffy strawberry pancakes. Everything tasted well prepared and nicely presented. I’d definitely come back

What a beautiful restaurant! Came in for brunch to celebrate my birthday and had a lovely experience. Very beautiful decor and comfortable booth seating. Beautiful outdoor patios. Lemon trees are everywhere! Very spacious but still very cozy.

And Jessica took care of us and did a fabulous job. Bethany was also very very helpful. She was all smiles.

Lovely brunch menu. We started with the crispy brussels sprouts and they were delicious. I had a nice glass of wine then had the French rolled omelette and it was just delicious. The Boursin cheese really kicks it up a notch! Very creamy. I asked for my breakfast potatoes to be a little crispy and they were perfect. He ordered the Croque madame and it was a nice big portion and very tasty. Then I had to have a specialty drink to celebrate so ordered the slightly impeared and not only was it a beautiful presentation but very, very tasty.

Beautiful views all around of the Hollywood Hills. Not too expensive, especially for the beauty of the restaurant as well as the views. Well worth it. We’ll definitely be back for happy hour!

Yet another great restaurant in Los Angeles (actually Hollywood, right next to the Capitol Records building). On the sixth floor roof, above the Aster Hotel, is Lemon Grove. It’s mostly outdoors, although there is a covered area and space heaters. It’s decorated with lots of trees, little lights, and ultra-lounge furniture. There’s a separate bar area with lots of cozy fire pits. The food was delicious, with a few dishes (notably the meatball appetizer and the rigatoni with rib meat) that are fusions of Italian and Mexican influences. The whole experience was delicious, fun, and romantic. Lemon Grove is perfect for date nights or friends getting together. Kids could be okay here, but it’s not really a family restaurant. I happened to find a curbside parking spot nearby, and noticed the valet has a $30 sign out front.

Such a stylish and cool spot in Los Angeles! The food was excellent—I really enjoyed the Burnt Rainbow Carrots and a perfectly grilled salmon. I also tried the Cacio e Pepe, which was tasty. Service was very friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

Lovely rooftop oasis in the middle of Hollywood. This restaurant is on the 6th floor of the Aster and parking is a bloody $33 or $40 at nearby public lot that’s the only downside. Otherwise, it’s a lovely place to bring friends for drinks or brunch. It has a beautiful outdoor patio seating and indoor seating. noise level indoor can be quite intrusive specially if big groups are present. Food is delicious, portions are just right. Skip the pastry or bakery offerings as it is pricey $15 for a small coffee cake. Came here for weekend brunch.

This restaurant never fails to deliver. They have impeccable service, ambience, and of course food. I’ve yet to visit this restaurant and be disappointed in any way. I highly recommend coming and checking this place out. A little added bonus on certain nights of the week they have movie nights with screenings on the rooftop right near the restaurant, and there is a members club that sits below the restaurant which I am a member of and truly enjoy. Can’t speak highly enough about the Aster and Lemon Grove.

A TRULY REMARKABLE EVENING AT LEMON GROVE !♥️

Lemon Grove was exceptional last night.

The food was beautifully prepared…balanced, flavorful, and presented with real finesse. The ambiance was perfection: enticing music, gorgeous lighting, and that magical rooftop setting that feels effortlessly elevated.

A special thank-you to Bethany, who welcomed us with such poise and warmth as our host.
And to Sean, our service lead for the evening, whose attentiveness, timing, and thoughtful suggestions truly enhanced our experience. Their presence made our night feel both personal and beautifully taken care of.

We will absolutely be returning!

The food was not so great but, the view was spectacular if you walked around the rooftop outside the restaurant. The “signature” meatballs were really salty. The chocolate cake was so dry that any baker that did not catch that problem needs to go back to remedial baking school. The tiger prawns were very good.
The rosemary lemonade cocktail was really sweet, so don’t get it unless you have a “sugar-tooth.”
Very beautiful dining room. Very attentive wait staff.

Food: 3.5/5.0
Disappointment: I thought lemon pasta is made of lemon juice with the color, but it’s actually yellow curry not refreshing and light as I thought but instead salty and heavy.
Chermoula is waste of money. To me just hummus with more flavor and texture. Not recommended.
Highlight: avocado toast is impressive with orange jam underneath the avocado mash that gives different layers of texture. I love it.
Mediocre: Bougie caviar with chips is expected nothing special.
Cocktails are fine. I got lemon one (forgot what exactly it is) and regular aperol spritz (a huge one). Nothing extraordinary.

Ambiance is lovely. 4.5/5
Perfect spot for brunch! Rooftop of a private clubhouse surrounded by lemon trees. You can see Capital Records across the street.
