•••••UPDATE ******+*++ straight trash, I went back again, a few days later and tried something different this time in order tacos and rice and beans. I ordered my allocate the same way and ask for the lime juice like I did the previous time this time. I had no chili on my taste I had no lime juice on my Elote. The rice was dry, and the beans was a pure water when I called back to ask them why they did such a horrible job on this order. The girl that answered the phone decided that she was gonna be nasty and rude to me and tell me that she has nothing to do to help me unless I come back to get the chilies. Well, it’s 20 minute drive there in a 20 minute drive back. I don’t wanna have to drive somewhere Back to somewhere to get my order correct I give this place is zero do not waste your time here is an updated photo. Please ignore the review that I gave them the first time when food was great and the service was great. They are absolutely trash. Disregard the review belowI am so excited that I have found a place locally that has true authentic Elote!! The taste is amazing! The wonderful woman that took my order by phone was very sweet and pleasant! They got my special request just right and the price is was almost the best part!! I have to say that I will be ordering from here regularly from now on. I never ever leave reviews so this is note worthy!

Probably the best Mexican restaurant in Wallingford. I got the spicy pork burrito, steak nachos, and the chicken enchiladas with green salsa.
All the proteins had an excellent cook and the food was, overall, seasoned and very flavorful.
I ordered lunch and my food was ready in about 15 minutes.
I don’t recommend ordering nachos for take-out because the chips get soggy, but these nachos did well in the container.
The burrito was spot-on, delicious with excellent ratios of beans, rice, proteins, and the fixings.
If you’re looking for a new mexican spot in wallingford, give this place a try!!

Found this place while traveling through. This place is the closest to real Mexican food that I’ve found on the east coast. I ordered the Tostada de Tinga and the Asada Tacos. Both were a amazing. I also got a horchata that was amazing. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be frequenting it during my travels.

Another great place in Wallingford. Really a small little shop, the counter service was friendly and helpful. The food was great. Had the enchiladas with chicken, a few tacos, and the chicharones preparado. All tasted great. Food came out .

The atmosphere is pleasant, the waiter is friendly but the food… is the most authentic my palate has ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The flavors just phenomenal and fresh! Homemade nachos in freshly made guacamole , tacos are freshly made as well as all the ingredients, including fresh Oaxaca Mexican string cheese! He even made my fried platanos to my liking! Even the coke bottles were from Mexico!! I can return soon enough to

There are a few spots in Connecticut who still cook authentic Mexican food from the heart. ( just like mom’s) yes! I went that far as comparing this to your abuelas or mom’s food . Great staff the food is amazing! Flavorful, authentic, filling. You can get fresh fruit and other Mexican antojitos ( little snacks)it’s has always been a great meal.
