As of Feb 21, 2025 I found the service is fast and efficient! within 5 minutes of ordering, my soup was ready. I had French onion soup & a delish baguette. Yum. Great menu variety, reasonable prices & good location. I’ll be back for sure.

Pulled into the Panera Bread drive-thru in Washington, UT, expecting soup and bread… not to lock eyes with a lumpy, grinning loaf of bread holding a “WELCOME” sign like he’d been waiting for me personally. He should be locked up in a straight jacket or put back in a Stephen King thriller novel!
His googly eyes followed my truck the entire time, and I swear his doughy smile widened when I ordered a kids menu grilled cheese. Creepy.
Don’t get me wrong, the grilled cheese was molten perfection and the apple slices were crisp enough to make me briefly forget the danger. But every bite felt like the mascot was outside my window, whispering, “You’ll be back…he he he he he he.”
Honestly, I haven’t driven at night since, just in case his yeast powered legs can run faster under the cover of darkness. Panera, please either leash him to a light post or hire him out for Halloween, he looks more like a potato than bread, FYI.
Five stars for the food, negative five for my newfound bread based paranoia.

Ughh I was sooo excited for this restaurant! This location disappointed for sure. Got a half a soup and half a salad each nearly $8 each which is fine except that they were tiny! My Salad container was barely big enough to hold and iphone and 95 percent iceburg lettuce…. Yeah, no go again for me at this location.

Ordered online. Showed up 3 minutes after the app said it was ready. The drive thru girl told me “They’re just bagging it up”. Spent 20 minutes waiting without any communication. Mind you the drive thru was empty the entire time. Tried flagging her down, even honking to get her attention. Nobody came.
So obviously at this point I was frustrated. Went inside to find out the order had been sitting there. Worst customer service in a drive thru I’ve ever experienced. I try to be patient but 20 minutes without communication of what’s going on is ridiculous, especially after being told it’s being bagged up.
Order was Dec 28th, 2025 for 2:20pm. The drive thru girl needs some training. Sorry for getting frustrated with some of the staff. All she had to do was keep me updated on what’s going on rather than ignore me. That’s what made me mad… more than having to wait for an order that showed as Ready on the App.

I had a large order for 24 employees. The staff at Panera was very friendly and followed instructions perfectly. I came in for pickup and it was fresh and ready right on time. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance is great!

ok what this place is actually so good. i got the creamy tomato soup, sugar cookie, agave lemonade, kettle chips, and half smokehouse bbq chicken sandwich. all of it was really good actually. nothing has any additives in it but it was a little expensive. definitely will be back

Choose the drive thru and the wait was 35 minutes. They gave me a cookie and apologized for the delay which I appreciated. After getting to my next destination discovered my order was something different. Ordered the Asiago chicken Roma and ended up with something with beef. It was delicious though! So here’s my review take what you will from it.

Welcome to Washington, Utah, Panera Bread! I’m so happy we finally have one in town. I noticed a lot of negative reviews, so I wanted to share my own experience.
It’s important to remember that they just opened less than a month ago, and like any new restaurant, it takes time to get into a smooth rhythm. There were a lot of people in the lobby but it was extremely clean and there were lots of workers. One of the best looking Panera breads I’ve seen. I ordered my meal online, a bread bowl with soup for just $10, and received an email notification when it was ready. The process was easy, and my order was delicious!
If you’re concerned about wait times, I highly recommend ordering online and picking up inside (drive thru is long). The drive-thru and inside ordering is still adjusting, so a little patience goes a long way. Overall, I’m excited to have Panera Bread in town and look forward to many more visits!
