Sad to say I don’t suggest a Martini! Small glass and amount.
My friend enjoyed a nice red wine ! There are plenty of non alcoholic beverages, so it’s kid friendly and good if you don’t drink alcohol.
They have a Very friendly bar and good service !
Please see the pictures.
Now, you can get that SAME GREAT FOOD that brings back those memories at Sullivan’s Restaurant at the Hanover Mall! Sullivan’s at Hanover???? You will NOT be disappointed! They’ve done a great job in bringing the casual vibe you get at Castle Island into a brick and mortar location along with a few additions! You can tell they put a lot of thought and heart into designing a restaurant that is welcoming and offers a casual and relaxing atmosphere! Seating consists of your choice of booths, high tables and chairs, an extensive bar with plenty of room for enjoing a meal, as well as a private area for functions or parties.
They offer many of the favorite dishes that the Sullivan’s location at Castle
Island is known for as well as some entrées and pizza!
You can even enjoy your favorite alcoholic beverage along with your meal!
Today, my wife and I stopped by here and ordered a grilled hot dog and cheeseburger along with a thick shake. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED !!
SULLIVAN’S HAS NOT LOST THEIR TOUCH! THE MAGIC IS STILL THERE!!
Along with their great food they also brought great people! Vinny, the Bar Manager waited on our table when we arrived. He was very personable and made us feel welcomed. We didn’t have to wait long before he returned with our food. Throughout our stay, he was very attentive not only to us but to other diners as well as he made his way to other tables checking to be sure they were pleased with their meals and offering his assistance if neeed. Great job Vinny!
We were very happy that we came to Sullivan’s and will be coming back soon to explore more on their menu or perhaps a pizza at the bar!
The menu is a well-rounded mix of favorites—fried seafood that’s golden and crispy, juicy burgers cooked just right, classic hot dogs, and hearty wraps. For those with a sweet tooth, the ice cream and milkshakes are an absolute treat and round out the experience in true New England fashion. It’s the kind of menu that appeals to everyone, and the quality is consistently high.
Equally impressive is the impeccable service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that orders come out quickly while maintaining a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. It’s clear that customer experience is a priority, and it elevates the dining experience even further.
In many ways, Sullivan’s at Hanover Crossing feels like a South Shore counterpart to Kelly’s Roast Beef—unique, dependable, and rooted in tradition—while still creating its own identity. The branching out from its original Castle Island location is handled with care, keeping the charm and flavors people love while making it more accessible to those who can’t always make the trip into Boston.
Overall, Sullivan’s Hanover Crossing is a fantastic spot: unique, nostalgic, delicious, and backed by service that truly makes you want to return.
My kids chicken Cesar wrap had ONLY lettuce and 6 croutons…NO CHICKEN AT ALL. I got the lobster roll. It was MAYBE 2 oz and it was the tiniest hot dog roll. The mashed potatoes were BOXED (instant). It was also $26 I kind of expected a little more. The best yet was the Buffalo chicken wrap….just look at the pic. Tiny little piece of chicken in this massive oversized wrap in tons of Tabasco sauce. This was my 1st experience with sullivans. They should have stuck to hot dogs.
