We could not have picked a better place to have our baby shower! Leading up to the event, the catering team set up a phone call to help us plan the logistics and menu. In addition, they met us for a site visit to review everything. I couldn’t believe how private the semi-private space felt. They really did a nice job blocking off our reserved area so we could celebrate with our friends and family (approx 35 people). The space is very clean and has great natural light. The food was amazing and there was more than enough! We had a buffet with all of the Sullivan’s Castle Island classics and some salads. In addition, the staff walked around taking drink orders and served passed apps. All of our guests kept commenting on how great the customer service was. The team could not have been more attentive and friendly to our guests. I highly recommend Sullivan’s Hanover for events and/or a meal with friends/family. I look forward to our next visit!

We stopped at Sullivans while were in town for a soccer tournament. I was with my family of 5 and we all had different types of food off the menu. Everything we ate was excellent. Our server MK was phenomenal. Being our first time there, we had some questions about the menu. MK was patient and explained everything perfectly. Service was excellent all around. I noticed that there were some regular customers around us who were gushing over the other waiters and bartender. The food was great and the staff was even better. As someone from out of town, I will be back the next time we are in the area.

I’m here at Sullivan’s Hanover and it’s a big disappointment! I’ve been to Hanover and the original location many many times and have always been happy. But today 1/16/2026 I’m mad! The hotdogs are not their usual natural casing hot dogs that are bigger than the bun. They are no more than a cheap store-brand hotdog. It didn’t even fill the bun!! I’m not even sure they were all beef. And they are $3.75 EACH! I sure hope that once the Castle Island location opens they are back to the original hotdogs or they will lose a lost of customers. Smarten up Sullivan’s!

I was happy to see a variety of gluten free foods ! I enjoyed the cheese French fries . My friend said the onion rings were okay !
Sad to say I don’t suggest a Martini! Small glass and amount.
My friend enjoyed a nice red wine ! There are plenty of non alcoholic beverages, so it’s kid friendly and good if you don’t drink alcohol.
They have a Very friendly bar and good service !
Please see the pictures.

Remember going to Sullivan’s at Castle Island during a great summer day and getting a perfectly grilled cheeseburger and hot dog with your own fixings along with a delicious thick shake?
Now, you can get that SAME GREAT FOOD that brings back those memories at Sullivan’s Restaurant at the Hanover Mall! Sullivan’s at Hanover???? You will NOT be disappointed! They’ve done a great job in bringing the casual vibe you get at Castle Island into a brick and mortar location along with a few additions! You can tell they put a lot of thought and heart into designing a restaurant that is welcoming and offers a casual and relaxing atmosphere! Seating consists of your choice of booths, high tables and chairs, an extensive bar with plenty of room for enjoing a meal, as well as a private area for functions or parties.
They offer many of the favorite dishes that the Sullivan’s location at Castle
Island is known for as well as some entrées and pizza!
You can even enjoy your favorite alcoholic beverage along with your meal!
Today, my wife and I stopped by here and ordered a grilled hot dog and cheeseburger along with a thick shake. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED !!
SULLIVAN’S HAS NOT LOST THEIR TOUCH! THE MAGIC IS STILL THERE!!
Along with their great food they also brought great people! Vinny, the Bar Manager waited on our table when we arrived. He was very personable and made us feel welcomed. We didn’t have to wait long before he returned with our food. Throughout our stay, he was very attentive not only to us but to other diners as well as he made his way to other tables checking to be sure they were pleased with their meals and offering his assistance if neeed. Great job Vinny!
We were very happy that we came to Sullivan’s and will be coming back soon to explore more on their menu or perhaps a pizza at the bar!

Ugh I don’t ever write a negative review, but here goes. We have been a family going to Sully’s Castle island for years and years and still love it. Tried Hanover for the third time last Sat. and what in the world happened! Making us have a server now and paying twice the price because it’s a Saturday?? The cheeseburger was bland, roll awful, absolutely nothing like Castle Island!! But was is this that we have to pay a server now, I just want to get my own food and sit down, not have to fork over a big tip for that. Never again, I’ll wait for the season to start and enjoy a delicious, hot off the grill cheeseburger in S Boston thank you. Disappointed customers.

Very very clean. The staff were very fast and friendly. When you enter they have full dining or a walk up counter available. The food was all good over all, pretty good pizza. The turkey club was good and I’m a big fan of the fries.

My wife got a turkey club sandwich for $18 that had hardly any turkey (deli turkey at that). I got a medium size (at best) fish and chips for $20 and my daughter got a good piece of baked haddock for $20 which included 2 sides (she opted for double fries, but she hardly got any more than me or my wife). The crinkle cut fries we all received looked like they came out of a freezer bag and they all tasted pretty bland.I will not be back.

Sullivan’s at Hanover Crossing is a welcome addition to the South Shore dining scene, carrying forward the beloved tradition of its Castle Island roots while offering a fresh new location. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between casual and inviting, making it a perfect spot for families, groups of friends, or even a quick solo bite.

The menu is a well-rounded mix of favorites—fried seafood that’s golden and crispy, juicy burgers cooked just right, classic hot dogs, and hearty wraps. For those with a sweet tooth, the ice cream and milkshakes are an absolute treat and round out the experience in true New England fashion. It’s the kind of menu that appeals to everyone, and the quality is consistently high.

Equally impressive is the impeccable service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that orders come out quickly while maintaining a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. It’s clear that customer experience is a priority, and it elevates the dining experience even further.

In many ways, Sullivan’s at Hanover Crossing feels like a South Shore counterpart to Kelly’s Roast Beef—unique, dependable, and rooted in tradition—while still creating its own identity. The branching out from its original Castle Island location is handled with care, keeping the charm and flavors people love while making it more accessible to those who can’t always make the trip into Boston.

Overall, Sullivan’s Hanover Crossing is a fantastic spot: unique, nostalgic, delicious, and backed by service that truly makes you want to return.

So it’s 8-3-24
My kids chicken Cesar wrap had ONLY lettuce and 6 croutons…NO CHICKEN AT ALL. I got the lobster roll. It was MAYBE 2 oz and it was the tiniest hot dog roll. The mashed potatoes were BOXED (instant). It was also $26 I kind of expected a little more. The best yet was the Buffalo chicken wrap….just look at the pic. Tiny little piece of chicken in this massive oversized wrap in tons of Tabasco sauce. This was my 1st experience with sullivans. They should have stuck to hot dogs.
