Food was cooked without any seasonings so it is very very bland. Rice was overcooked and soggy. They are very short staffed. They don’t refill their stations so I had to wait 10 minutes in line just to get fresh fajita veggies. Definitely not going to be open for too long, should be closed down to find new workers that know how to stay on top of things. Definitely will not be back to this location. 1/10 would not recommend

The actual people are great, but don’t order online. The online system is horrible. Charged me 2x for my meal, caused a fraud alert on my account and got my debit card shutdown. I still don’t think a human has ever been involved with the customer support system. Everything was automated, I had to send the information to them multiple times after they requested. Got an email from them saying “After reviewing the transaction on my end, I’m confirming that the total amount charged was $76.59, as reflected on the attached receipt and our transaction record.

Terrible service. I was in a few days ago and they were out of so much. I’ve only been there a handful of times but whenever I do lots of things are empty. When I asked if they had steak she threw her head back to go get some from the drive thru and then proceeded to do the same thing when I asked for fajita veggies and extra sour cream. Didn’t say a word, just kept throwing her head back like it was a huge inconvenience. It made me extremely uncomfortable.

We walked in well before 7PM. They had at least four people in the front, one cooking in the back. Dishes were piled high. We even said we had a feeling it wouldn’t be good, but we understand things happen so we’d give it a chance. First they said they were out of hard shells. Then before we said we’d take soft, he said they were out of soft. We decided we’d just do bowls to still give our business. I started to order beans and they were out of beans and he replied, “We’re out of beans.” I responded with, “Are you making more, we can wait.” He turned to the back and asked how long. They just came up. As he scraped to the bottom of the rice and seemed inconvenienced that we were willing to wait for beans, he broke the news that they may not have enough meat. He measured it out and really stretched to make it work while staff stood and stared. At this point it was very clear that no one wanted to work, no one seemed embarrassed or bothered that they were unprepared and had plenty of staff to be doing something and not standing around. We kindly told them that we were going to leave. I don’t need a free meal out of this, or a free drink. I just need people to be held accountable to be professional, responsible, and act like they care to have a job, even if it’s not liked. We’re lowering our standards as a society on how to work/work ethic, being a service to others, and showing professionalism. It’s so defeating. Please encourage your staff with training and accountability. Thank you.

Went in at 6pm which should be prime dinner time. Food was served less than what could be considered warm. Rice was cold moosh, steak was nearly 100% gristle. Employees were less than hospitable. Ended up throwing it out and going somewhere else.
As far as atmosphere, I’m not sure why in a brand new building that they decided to build it so congested with poor flow. Just poor execution of a chipotle.
This was our first and last visit to Galesburg Chipotle.. very disappointed.

Save your money and go to Taco Bell-
After several flight delays, I came home and DoorDash tacos. The driver reached out, letting me know that after an hour that it was delayed because they’re shorthanded and didn’t have anyone who could cut steak.
I said go ahead and send it because it would be longer to order elsewhere. The food arrived. The steak didn’t touch a grill. It’s cold and slimy. I asked for flower shells. I got corn. The toppings are not correct. The most frustrating part is when you call so they have the opportunity to correct it. You will speak to a robot in circles until she hangs up on you and if you call back, it will say thank you for calling back. Someone will get back with you in 24 to 48 hours.. Clearly by their ratings, the store is failing, This is a small community, You might want to clean it up and do better if you’d like to stay.
For now, do not eat here. It is awful and a waste of $30.

This chipotle is by far the worst I have ever dined at. The worker making my burrito: had to wash his hands because another worker saw him put them in his mouth, changed his gloves twice because he took a phone call while making my food. I was the only person in the store around 9pm. He had visible sores on his hands under the transparent gloves. This type of service and unawareness is unacceptable. Major food safety concerns also. Cannot imagine if this store were to experience a rush, they would never be able to handle it.

Consistent- went there (5) times- all 5 times the dining room was a disaster. Trash over flowing out of the receptacle onto the ground. Every table dirty, napkin dispenser completely out. Food line was uncomfortable as (every time) they’re literally scraping the dried and crusted bottom of the pan to give you absolute last remains- NEVER offered anything fresh in 5 visits. Chipotle chooses profit over cleanliness in both serving dishes and dining room appearances. Gave a solid second, third, forth and last chance. It’s very consistent- consistently bad. Simply can’t go back, will try another location in Quad Cites or Peoria.

I ordered online a burrito and paid for extra meat and instead I got a ton of rice and almost no meat. This is why I don’t like leaving tips before I’ve been able to try the food. These places are getting out of hand with ripping people off. It was &45 for a burrito, chips and cheese and a drink. This is wild.
