One of the best smashburgers and fries I’ve ever had—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries are fried in beef tallow instead of seed oils, which makes a huge difference, and the homemade fry sauce takes them to the next level. The owners are incredibly kind, great to chat with, and it’s veteran-owned to boot. Highly recommend!

My family and I make it an almost every week trip to go see Mike and Shay to eat. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the gumbo they made last weekend was great!! Highly recommend the s’more quesadilla for dessert. Mike and Shay are two of the most good hearted people that have gone out of their way to help the community after the hurricane and make sure everyone who needed it was fed. Keep up the good work and great food!!!

I absolutely love Basecamp Grub. I follow them around like a stalker trying to get another one of those great smash burgers that Mike does. Also, he’s got some killer sides that make it worth following him all over two counties for. If you want a real treat and the best burger you’ve ever had in your life be sure to check out Basecamp Grub. Not only is the food great, the owners, Mike and Shea , are the best. I could tell you stories about what a great couple they are, but I would suggest driving down there and grabbing a burger and finding out for yourself. Don’t forget the sides, their scrumptious!

I can not understand the one review here. My large family had a great dinner from BaseCamp Grub at Trailside Brewery in Hendersonville, NC. Everyone was very happy with the food. The couple who runs the truck are super nice. I look forward to the truck being close by again.

The burger meat clearly has additives (like maybe Worcestershire sauce?). It was awful – did not taste like a burger but some kind of grossly-flavored Frankenstein alternative. Was it even beef? The smashed potatoes also had a funny off-flavor. Simple is ALWAYS better. Trying to doctor everything leads to this. Don’t recommend.
