Wonderful place for a birthday party as well as incredible ice cream (and homemade ice cream cakes!)
We have always loved stopping by for an ice cream throughout the warm months. They never disappoint with great customer service. We decided to rent their “social club” space for my daughters birthday party, and it was perfect. The owner was so sweet and accommodating for our party even during a hectic day in downtown Henniker. Shocked to see anything less than 5 star reviews. Exactly what you’d expect at an ice cream stand. Many options of hard ice cream and soft serve (can’t speak to soft serve, double Dutch fudge brownie pictured). My fiancé also loved the amount of vegan / dairy free options

Always enjoy coming here in the summer! Fast service. Highly recommend the River Ice sorbet, especially coconut and rootbeer. There are a couple of tables inside of you don’t want to go to the park across the street to eat outside. The employees are kind. The prices are similar to other ice cream shops I’ve visited.

Food was okay. Certainly not bad for the area but would hope for more added morsels in their flavors (vanilla chip lacking chips, dutch brownie lacking brownies.) I can’t fault the service. The interior is minimal and so is the outdoor seating unless you want to cross the street. I would think being so close to the river they’d maybe have some benches out back…

Vegan options galore!!!!!
I was thrilled to discover this ice cream shop and its LARGE variety of vegan/non dairy ice cream! The menu clearly distinguishes vegan options and I love that there is a large amount of vegan ice creams and not only sorbets.
We tried the vegan chocolate chip cookie dough, mint chip, and maple walnut flavors.
We loved all of them!!! The maple walnut was my personal favorite. It was creamy and delicious. I can’t believe there is a vegan option as unique as this at an ice cream shop less than 20 minutes from my house. Times are changing and I’m super happy.
Needless to say, I’ll be back several times this summer.

Cute little ice cream shop in adorable downtown Henniker. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable. There are lots of options to choose from plus a large variety of vegan and sorbet flavors. There’s a park across the street with picnic tables and a gazebo to sit and enjoy your treat.

The ice cream is delicious and the people are friendly however every time I go, I do not ever get what I asked for they forget the toppings, usually so busy I don’t want to ask them to take it back and remake it just a little disappointed because you want what you want.
