We came around 5:30pm on Tuesday. We got seated right away, ordered drinks and dinner within minutes after that. Dinner came to the table around 6pm. Food is really good and the service was great, our server’s name is Liz, she was on top of it! We’ll be back!

We have been to the El Cozumel in the Courtland Mall before but not their new location in Davison. So tonight we decided to try it. They did a great job remodeling the old Big Boy that was previously here. I would not recognize it if I didn’t know. Beautiful! The hostess sat my wife and I within a few minutes. The place was packed but the waitress seemed to get everything done for us in a reasonable time. She started us with free totilla chips and salsa, a plus. I had the El Cozumel chicken salad bowl and my wife had the shrimp burrito dinner. Both were very good. My favorite part was the jumbo Margaritas. Expensive but absolutely spot on. All in all a great place for dinner but you may have to wait because this place seems to always be busy.

Amazing Rice!! This is a fantastic spot for a quick sit-down experience although expect a long wait it’s very popular! Our takeout was ready incredibly fast, which was perfect for a busy day. The inside is beautifully decorated — modern, clean, and inviting — making it just as worth visiting for the atmosphere as for the food. Highly recommend! Great for a lunch takeout of rice, chips, salsa, and queso!
