Owner Chef K has been working sushi restaurants since the age of 19 and now has finally opened his own sushi restaurant in the Playa Vista/Playa Del Rey area. He specializes in very unique specialty rolls but also the classic sushi rolls. His motto is High quality ingredients make great sushi.

I absolutely love this place. I’m visiting from out of state and was wanting to try some sushi over here on the West Coast. I couldn’t have picked a better place! My friend ordered the Philly and spider rolls and I ordered the crunchy dragon roll and pumpkin carrot soup. We also ordered the fusion bun with imitation crab and plum sake. Everything was delicious and Atko, our hostess, was so very lovely. 10/10 highly recommend.

The food was excellent. We went at dinner on Friday, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was absolutely worth it. The dragon roll was so good that I will probably send my husband to get only that to go for lunch on random days!

What a charming sushi place that was just the right casual dinner during our short stay in transit via LAX. It is small and cosy, in an unassuming strip mall corner shopping center. When we arrived, the staff “team greeted” us as if they were so happy to welcome us for dinner. The gentleman (who might be the manager?) who staffed our table was so warm, friendly, and attentive. The menu was extensive and our well-priced, very solid sushi meal hit the spot! I’ll be glad to frequent this establishment the next time we are in town. Not the “best restaurant ever” but felt like the type of place whose small staff works hard to ensure their guests have a delightful and relaxed experience.

I feel like I was back in Japan. Super small quaint little restaurant. There are literally only like 6 tables inside. They do have outside dining too. Great service by friendly servers and the food was so good and tasted so fresh. We were hungry so we failed to take pics of the $72 sushi boat we got. Will definitely be back.

Fresh sushi at a reasonable price. We were travelling to the LA area from Ontario, Canada and were eager to try sushi in California. This place popped up on our radar and did not disappoint. Service is great and gave some great recommendations. Will be coming back, highly recommend 10/10. The service can’t be beat too, reason why I’m writing this and making the effort!

Cute little restaurant with inside and outdoor seating. The sushi was fresh, very delicious. The albacore and yellowtail belly are my favorite. The staff is prompt, very friendly. I really enjoyed the Miso Yellowtail, the bluefin toro was nice. Melts in your mouth.
