On our first visit, the service was excellent.
The lasagna fritters were great, the Chicken Piccata had a strange taste, we couldn’t eat it, and we ordered Chicken Alfredo, which was delicious.
We also ordered the Veal Saltimbocca, which was very well seasoned, but the meat also had a strange taste and was very tough. The drinks were good but below average.
We may have been unlucky with the dishes, but we’ll be back for the excellent service.

If you have not had the chance and you live in the Southshore area looking for a great tiramisu. I would highly recommend Evviva. Ryan was my bartender this evening and he provided top notch service adding to the experience. The staff is wonderfully friendly and accommodating.

I’ve never been to Evviva Trattoria but I saw they opened up a couple of location near me so I figured I would give it a try.
I started by ordering a mocktail, it was $8 for the tropical mule which was expensive, but if it’s good then it’s no big deal. It tasted like sprite and ginger beer. Not spectacular enough for me to want to drink the whole thing.
We ordered the lasagna fritters and they had a flavor that was reminiscent of hot dogs.
We also got a polpette pizza and the short rib risotto. Both were extremely disappointing. The pizza was absolutely awful, the meatballs were super meaty tasting and the pizza was also lacking flavor.
The risotto was unlike any risotto I’ve seen before. It looked like long rice was boiled like a pasta and had veggie chunks thrown in. The short rib was ok, but the sauce on it was not great.
I’m not sure how this place managed to make everything we ordered unappetizing, but they did. I would not come back here after my experience dining here.
Our big at the end of the night was $78 plus tip so it was not cheap, especially when everything we got was disappointing. We had plenty left over but I couldn’t bring myself to bring it home because it was so bad.

The Guide
I recently had lunch at Evviva Trattoria in Hanover, Massachusetts, and it was a fantastic experience. We were seated immediately, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The fried ravioli appetizer was delightful, and the chicken parmigiana sandwiches were some of the best I’ve ever had. Parking was hassle-free. With its casual atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food, we highly recommend Evviva Trattoria.

Showed up a little before 6 tonight and only had a 15 min wait on a Friday. I’ll take that any day. We had Martina as our waitress and she was awesome. I even told her so at the end of our service. We got the Italian Street fries, I had the lasagna and my boyfriend had the chicken Parm. We ordered the flourless chocolate cake to go. Atmosphere was awesome. Service was nothing but the best can’t wait to go back.

This has moved into my favorite family-friendly restaurant on the South Shore. (Yes, even over Mamma Mias) For a chain Italian/American restaurant, the food was outstanding, and the prices are well reasoned. It is also kid-friendly with an awesome deal every day of the week.
But the staff – WOW. They were attentive – consistently checking on us and refilling drinks, nonstop cleaning, and so incredibly nice. We also overheard the manager asking his staff if they needed anything or where he could help. It was very apparent that this is a well run restaurant, and it reflects that in the food and atmosphere.
Great job, Evviva! We will certainly be back.

Ordered the Mac and Cheese and im very impressed. I Order mac just about everywhere I go, and they certainly are in the competition for #1. The chocolate brownie with icecream is also amazing, if you order takeout like I did they package the whole brownie seperate from the toppings and icecream which is convenient. Overall very good and fair priced.

Service and atmosphere were top notch. Food was ok. Nothing to rave about. It was good old fashioned American style Italian food. The patata pizza was definitely a hit. Drinks were great and enjoyed the experience.
