Very good place. The food was excellent. We had the three cheese appetizer and the pork belly appetizer. Both were very good. Then we each (3 of us) had filets. All very good. Then we had the bread pudding and the crème brûlée desserts. Again very tasty. Will definitely come back!

Great place for a little special lunch. Dinners are exquisite but probably limited to special occasions, a lunch can give you an opportunity to experiance this great restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere are first class. We had lunch here and had a cheese board to share and entree.

This is an excellent hidden gem that can be easy to miss by all the other options in the plaza. The cocktails were the highlight as we went during the lunch specials but we will definitely be back to try the dinner menu.

Food is delicious! I had the Caesar Wedge salad and Lamb Lollipops. Full of flavor and perfect. The salad is grilled with roasted tomatoes- so much flavor but not traditional. I wish I had a huge bowl to enjoy, mostly because I love vegetables. The Lamb Lollipops- perfectly seasoned and tender. Highly recommend!

Kindred has an impressive menu. Everyone is always welcoming, and we enjoy the cozy, artsy ambiance. Same owner as Oak Grove Market, which means that the ingredients are sublime.
Our favorites on the menu:
– Grilled oysters (on Fridays; the lemon vinaigrette is refreshing)
– Kindred salad (really stands out; the pickled veggies in the salad are SO good)
– Trumpet mushrooms
– Three Pigs Burger (one of our top favorite burgers)
Our scallops and octopus tasted overcooked– slightly burnt and they were tough/rubbery. We will give the seafood another try next time.

This is an interesting little restaurant. From the pictures online, I thought it was going to be a little more “elegant” but I didn’t know what to expect when we arrived and saw it wasnt a stand-alone type restaurant but its in a strip mall and shares parking lot with other places. The staff was very friendly and helpful, starting with Steven at the door and our server Salem. They have a full bar and some fancy drinks on the menu. We started with Lamb Lollipops and a Caesar Wedge salad, both were really good! Lamb was tender and the salad was very tasty. For entrees were shared Hanger Steak with Black Truffle Butter and Gouda Grits and the Seared Scallops, it came with English Pea Risotto. The steak was just ok, it wasnt tender at all, had a lot of fat in it. The grits were so good! The scallops were really salty but the Risotto was amazing! For dessert we had an elevated ice cream sandwich with a chocolate chip cookie. Overall a nice place, you should try it.

Went for a random Thursday night date, first time going. First off the environment was great, floral entry caught my wife’s eye immediately, inside was a warm and welcoming environment from the host Matt *i think, kinda looked like young Cody Bellinger* to our server Salem. His service was attentive, genuine, informative, just an overall nice chill guy. Started off with a recommended “pyramid sees all” which with yogurt at first sounded odd but was a solid cocktail enough for a second round. Entree wise the Gouda grits were phenomenal with the scallops which were cooked beautifully. Wife had grilled broccolini and a filet with the bacon jam which I would recommend getting even on the side try it if you go you won’t regret it. Would definitely go back one day and would recommend.

Food was food. We went for Valentine’s Day as they had a special menu with wine pairings. We ordered the wine pairing with our food and after the first of four courses, we checked on our wine and heard that apparently we had not ordered the wine pairing despite both of us saying yes to the wine pairing. We ended up getting a bottle of wine that took another fifteen minutes to get opened. When we got the bill, we were flabbergasted as the quality and price did not match up. If felt like we were paying buckhead prices for a long wait

Food was amazing. Had the crispy pork belly, fried brussel sprouts, sticky spare ribs as apps. Had the hanger steak as main course. All were fabulous. The only complaint was our server, Salem, who despite other reviews here was not the best. My wife didn’t like his attitude when she asked about cocktails (his first suggestion was a a margarita). She ended up just getting a beer. Then, he forgot to place our drink order, then couldn’t remember what we even ordered when we asked where the drinks were after food had already been brought to the table. The meal was amazing. He then tried to push dessert on us 3-4 times despite us clearly asking for a check and some to go boxes. Despite that, I would go back because the food and atmosphere were great.

Idk why I’ve slept on this place but it’s been fantastic all three times we’ve been there over the years, especially this past Friday. The staff are incredibly welcoming right off the bat and that quality persists throughout the meal. Shoutout to Salem who’s served us twice now.
The pimiento cheese and pickled veggie plate comes with a big, tasty portion. The grouper bites are perfectly breaded and tender.
We’ve tried a lot of the apps but the vampire tacos might steal the show, and that’s not something I’d expect to say about meatless tacos.
Last thing I’ll mention is the burger…it’s huge, the meat is quality (as are all of their cuts) , the pork belly is so good on it, and the bun is perfect.
Truly a hidden neighborhood gem and somewhere I’m excited to return to soon.
