A nice dive bar. Very attentive owner. The facility is small but well maintained. Unlike many dive bars, bathrooms are clean and cleanly kept. Overall, a very good experience.

Ordered a ginger ale and cranberry sans ice and was told the price was $6 because I requested no ice. It was $4 with ice. Later, I asked for quarters for the pool table and handed the bartender two $1 coins. She asked what they were and after I explained they were dollar coins she refused to take them. She told me that she couldn’t accept them because the coins couldn’t be given out as change. She then went on to tell me that it was the bar’s policy and not hers. Why it’s policy to not accept coins at this bar still puzzles me. A bit later, I ask for a cranberry and pineapple, no ice. I get told the bar doesn’t have enough pineapple juice for my drink and they’ve had to ration out the pineapple juice from the one 6oz can they still have, for the rest of the night. I hope the owner has a chance to respond to this review. I would really like to know the reasoning behind refusing to accept legal US tender and how the bar can operate by rationing out juice to someone who, for personal reasons, doesn’t consume alcohol.

“Jud, Hailey, and Frankie are exceptional bartenders! I’ve been coming to this place for a long time, and it boasts one of the best pool tables and competitions around. The atmosphere is welcoming, with everyone being incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this spot!”

We go there at least every month. Sometimes more often. This is the only bar I will go to. The owner who is a wonderful man knows how to run his business. He’s so friendly to everyone and is always making sure everyone is taken care of. Also his staff is another amazing person. She is on top of everything at all times. The people who come there are usually the same faces and that’s what makes this family feel like home. If there is one bar I would recommend it’s definitely Colonial.

I came here for happy hour a few times and got $3 Heineken’s from a bartender. Visited during happy hour and a different bartender charged me $5. Ok cool, like others say it’s a “regulars bar” I get that. This guy made eye contact with me and went on to serve 3 other people first who weren’t even done with their drinks. Ok cool, it’s 5pm and not busy at all. I had a long day and needed a drink. BUT apparently if your skin is slightly brown or darker, be prepared to deal with some inexplicable BS. Why though when EVERYONE’S MONEY IS GREEN!? Do I have to be initiated in for some decent service? Do you want my first child instead? Could I at least get a coaster if you’re going to overcharge me? Or do you just want a reason to complain about the Hispanic guy “mistreating” your bar?? Only place with a pool table open during COVID though so I guess I had to deal with it

I waited outside for a cab. One guy came outside while I waited invited me inside. I got to meet the staff and owner. They seemed like good people. One guy bought me a beer which I appreciated. We watched sports and then I left. They had both indoor and outdoor seating when I was there.

Always a great time and overall energetic atmosphere. All the regulars are very friendly and knowledgeable eachother. Their pool table is one of the best and kept in mind condition.

Great neighborhood bar that really surprises. Was there only about 30 minutes and the owner bought me a drink. It was my first visit. Rounds by other customers followed. No food but conversation rules. Give it a try

Cute little bar. Bartenders are sweet, fast, and knowledgeable. Cheap drinks. Great service. They got darts and pool tables plenty of seating. Close to a Chinese spot if your hungry too.
