They have a shotgun style kitchen which means they bring food to your table as soon as it’s ready. Honestly, I don’t know why this isn’t the standard at every restaurant because everything was so HOT and fresh
We got the crispy chicken skewers (comes with 3). They were delicious and crispy.
Burger sliders. Delicious as well.
Grilled cheese with tomato bisque. Soup tasted homemade and was savory. Grilled cheese had a nice crunch on the outside.
We got these 3 items to share amongst 2 people and had to take some home since the portions were filling.
The staff were wonderful. The environment is cozy! This has been my favorite restaurant while visiting Deep Creek.

A must stop place for locals and tourists alike. The oldest bar in Deep Creek, it’s gone through a few renovations over the years, and its newest version is the best yet.
The food is always consistently good, with options on the menu that will please everyone.
Service is warm, welcoming, fast and friendly.
The atmosphere is warm and beautifully decorated, making it a great spot for anything from a date night to a large gathering, they can accommodate it all.

Pawn Run is a really special place for my husband and I. From our early years of dating, it was always our favorite spot. So, when they said they’d be willing to host our unique wedding reception, we were ecstatic.
For those of you who have been, you already know the food is fantastic. You also know that every single team member is warm, welcoming, and kind. Needless to say, we knew everything would be great, and I’m happy to share that the Pawn Run team absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. The level of care they put into every single detail was so reassuring from the very beginning and throughout the whole process (coordinating meals, music, timing, layout, etc).
Pawn Run helped us design a custom menu featuring combinations of our classic favorites. They also offered custom hors d’oeuvres that our guests couldn’t stop talking about, and the drinks were absolutely top notch. The spicy margarita is a personal favorite and honestly the best I’ve ever had, so it was featured as one of our signature drinks. They helped us with a custom dessert and even put together a flatbread pizza bar for late night snacking. At the end of the night, they boxed up any extras and had everything conveniently ready to go for us.
A couple comments made through the night:
“Those appetizers were so good; I couldn’t stop eating them! I honestly didn’t even need a meal after.”
“I feel like I could order any drink from the bar, and it would be the best version of that drink I’ve ever had. These bartenders just get it.”
Sharing such a meaningful place with our family and friends was really a full circle moment, and we couldn’t be happier with the attention to detail and above & beyond service. If you’re looking for a spot in the Deep Creek area to host any type of event, please give Pawn Run a call.

Love this place! A different type of menu, food is excellent! We shared the Brussels sprouts with goat cheese. My husband doesnt like goat cheese so they put it on the side. I am gluten free so I had the fig and wild mushroom flatbread on a cauliflower crust. It was excellent! My husband had the tacos and they were delicious. Drinks are excellent as well. Our waitress, Krista, was fabulous! She will help you through the menu. Highly recommended this place.

We were in Deep Creek for the weekend and we wanted a restaurant away from the crowd. We ate here on Saturday evening and while it was busy we didn’t have to wait to be seated. We ordered the red sangria and their smoked old fashioned and were pleased with both.
Then we ordered to share the pork burgers sliders, the steak crostini (don’t have a photo because I was dying of trying them), and the pork belly on rice. Everything was delicious. We loved all tree dishes and we wished we could eat more because all their dishes seemed great. I loved particularly the steak crostini although I wish the steak was a bit more medium than well cooked. That didn’t take away from the taste and quality of it all though.
My husband went crazy for the pork belly on rice (it’s quite spicy). And the pork burgers were light and super cute.
I highly recommend Pawn Run Bar and, if we decide to go back to Deep Creek, we’ll definitely eat here again!

Everything was a 20/10! I live in a beach town in Delaware where great hospitality and exceptional food are essential for creating memorable experiences, especially for vacationers. While visiting Deep Creek, we came across this spot thanks to its stellar Google reviews and decided to give it a try. It absolutely lived up to the hype!!!
The portions were generous, the food came out hot and flavorful, and the prices were more than fair. Our server, Johnny, was outstanding— friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome.
When we return to this area, this restaurant will be at the top of our list. If you’re nearby and looking for a great place to dine— indoors or outdoors— don’t pass this one up. It’s a must-visit.
PS: I couldn’t have the drinks because I am pregnant, but everyone else who was with me said they were fantastic.

Read the reviews about this place and decided to give it a try. It was packed when we arrived and we’re told about a 50 minute wait. We decided to wait it out because other patrons said it was worth it and boy was it ever!!!! Our waitress was Nicole and she was fantastic. She made some suggestions and was very attentive, funny and sweet. We ordered the brussel sprouts, cesar salad, cheeseburger sliders, and chicken tacos. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! I also indulged in two cocktails which were the Painkiller and the Down under. Both mixed perfectly. We finished off our 1st experience with the blueberry cheesecake! It was AMAZING!!! It was most definitely worth the wait! We will definitely be back in the summer! Don’t miss this place!!!!

Every single item was beyond words delicious – we tried a variety of options and many didn’t last long enough to grab a photo of.
Our server was so kind and attentive – the location is beautifully situated and has plenty of indoor, outdoor, and covered seating. Fantastic ambiance.
The crispy chicken skewers are award worthy
But again, all of the food and beverages were phenomenal!
Cannot wait to visit again!
