Woooow. So much scrumptiousness. Each course was beautifully presented and was a delight to the tastebuds. We went for an anniversary treat and absolutely will return. The chef is a genius.

My mom brought me here the first time. Chef Andras makes the best food I have had anywhere in the area, BY FAR. The flavors are unique and well thought out and cooked to perfection. I love the unique experience when I go as I don’t have think about what I’m going to order (I know it’ll be delicious) and every course is somehow timed perfectly so that I’m ready for it. He encouraged us to bring our kiddo as he loves introducing kids to new flavors and she LOVED it. We love Chef Andras and his food so much that we even asked him to cater our wedding. We are still getting compliments on the food; guests said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding (by far). He went above and beyond what we had asked him to do and we can’t thank him and his team enough.

I have heard of Caramella Bistro multiple times from folks but had never tried it for myself until tonight. The food was exactly on par with the likes of Blackberry Farm or High Hampton. Quality was at the forefront of each dish and it showed. The atmosphere was superb and quaint (great background music). It’s truly a hidden gem and I’m glad I finally went tonight. Before we left the parking lot we were all talking about when we could come back. Thanks Chef! 10/10

R an I had one of the best suppers we have had since moving to East TN.

You have to make a reservation. There is only one dinner service.
It’s a 5 course meal. They don’t have a set menu. The chef cooks what he loves incorporating the absolute best product he can get. He talked about the menu before the service and then explained every course as they were served. He interacted and answered questions. It is fun to see an artist at work enthusiastic about their creations.

It was phenomenal.

We started out with a homemade hummus and fresh soft pita bread that was delicious.

Then we had a braised pear salad with a balsamic dressing, pecans and cheese.

They also brought out some fresh hot rolls that were heavenly. We are bread ho’s so we wanted to eat them all!! So very tasty I used the bread to get every last bit of balsamic dressing out of the salad bowl.

Then we had a baked cod with shrimp and a cauliflower puree.
I’m usually not overly impressed with cod. I’m use to thin cod filet. I think my eyeballs almost popped out of my head when I saw it. It was the thickest piece of cod I’ve ever had. It flaked off in huge chunks. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. I have to say it was One of the best , if not they best pieces of fish I have ever had in Tennessee. The shrimp were plump and juicy. The cauliflower was buttery and creamy. Each bite was so good, I think I actually did the happy wigglely butt dance in my seat.

Then came the chateaubriand. OMG. It was so tender and scrumptious. Well seasoned so it did not over power the meat. It had a wonderful rich savory flavor, the au jus was delectable, I thought the bread was perfect before, but then I used some to soak up some of the meat juice. Amazing.

It came with green beans, roasted potatoes and mushrooms. Chanterelle I think is what he said they were.

The mushrooms were outstanding and I loved them as much as the meat. The potatoes were the perfect state of doneness. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside very delicious too.

The green beans were sauteed with some shallots and were cooked al dente. Still green and firm but packed with flavor the way I like them.

Everything was piping hot and steamy fresh.

I had to force myself to stop eating to save room for dessert, which was this awesome chocolatety brownie with a strawberry cholis and vanilla ice cream. It was delightful.

I am so full and satisfied.

I highly recommend this place.
It’s really a great to value for the price and well worth the drive to Kingston.

We will definitely be back.
Hopefully soon.

Oh, it is bring your own wine/alcohol.

I can’t wait until we get to go back again!

One of the finest meals you will ever have. The food is chefs choice and he never disappoints! reservation’s are required and he is usually booked out several weeks (a testament to the chef if you ask me). The food is always fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is like none I have ever experienced. The staff are all exceptional and extremely friendly.
If you are going to be in Kingston or are lucky enough to live here then I highly recommend dining there.

This bistro is special occasion experience. The menu is preset and is 5 courses plus dessert. They do not serve alcohol but they allow you to bring your own wine and no corking fee. Food was delicious and well worth the price as well as the unique atmosphere. Friday’s are always beef wellington, Saturday is surf and turf. You must make a reservation, no walk-in, but this makes it special. Venue is small. The Chef comes out and talks with you and his wife serves you. They are the only 2 working. We will go back as I want to try the surf and turf and the experience is well worth the price.
