The South shores Kroger in Decatur gets a lot of negativity. It is small and the stock selection is small. You cannot count on them having what you need. However, this does not apply to the deli! I have rarely experienced any lack of a deli item I needed. The deli folks are friendly, personable, and helpful. Don’t hesitate to stop at this deli when you need to grab something for a picnic, dinner or just a craving. I am hopeful they will increase the store size or build a larger store in the area.

Bad experience, didn’t ask for Kroger card, rang up groceries, didn’t ask for ID for beer. I asked why I didn’t get a discount, she looked at me and said go to the front desk. Went to the front desk, the clerk was busy talking to someone else and opening up a bottle of soda and took a drink before waiting on me. Bad Manners!!!!!!
