Nicola’s is your typical neighborhood spot. The owner is a super nice guy and is very friendly. The pizza is very cheesy. The crust is pleasantly fluffy. The base is crispy and thin with fantastic structure. The sauce is excellent as well. Overall, Nicola’s puts out a great standard slice that won’t disappoint.

I have been eating Nicola’s pizza, subs and other Italian dishes since we moved in during 1975. All the food has consistently been excellent. I love the sauce, cheeses and sauce! The food is so good, that when my daughter comes home from across the country no trip is complete without several subs and pizzas from Nicola’s. Jake is an incredible person who cares about his customers, a true neighborhood place. Happy 50th year anniversary!

Just move to the area and we have been ordering from pizza city but last week they try charging me $20 for a large plain and that its just insane, today the wife look around for another pizza spot and we found you guys, 12 wings and a large plain for $28 i was very happy and the best part the food was delicious, the crust on the pizza, the wings were so damn juicy, we found our new pizza spot “ Nicola’s Pizza”.

If I could give this place a 0, I would. I ordered through DoorDash and NEVER received my order despite calling and checking on the status 3 different times (and got excuses each time… kept telling me the driver would be here in a few minutes. That was 2 hours ago). Got a message saying the food was delivered, and it wasn’t. Thankfully DD refunded my money. I wish I would have read the reviews first. With all the really good pizza places around here, don’t waste your time or money on this place.

I asked for a certain topping for my salad and the guy who answered the phone gave me something completely different. Not only that, the salad was drowned in dressing. I also asked for a well done pizza and it came regular, but it had well done on the ticket. The food tasted expired in all honesty, I had runs immediately after. Just terrible overall. Unfortunately, I usually give great ratings, not this time.

Our family has been coming to this family owned pizzeria since 1995. The service is great. Very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is what is to be expected of a pizzeria. Very clean and orderly. Never have had a bad experience or order that can be recalled. Would recommend if in the Somerset/New Brunswick area. Enjoy!

Best pie in town hands down. Tried other pizzerias around town and was extremely disappointed; cheap cheese was being used and the sauce wasn’t up to standard,but this place hits it home. With a nice thin crust, a really good and robust sauce and ooh yeah forgot….they use real mozzarella. Hope they keep doing a good job.

The worst so-called Italian dinner I’ve ever had! Been coming to this place over 20 yrs. First time ordering a dinner. I paid $18 for a Chicken Francaise dinner that was supposed to include, according to the website, linguine & a salad. What I got: Chicken cutlets that appeared to be frozen, not fresh, heated up, floating in an extremely oily sauce, spaghetti instead of linguine and no salad. When I called to complain, all the owner did was justify the mistakes made. Tried to explain why it looked like that. And then..”Guess we ran out of linguine”. “Salad doesn’t come with it anymore”. Prices went up. The menu plainly says it comes with it..”Next time you call I will give you a couple of dollars off for the spaghetti. No offer to rectify, i.e. credit money back to my debit card, or another dinner..no forget that. Would not want another one! Had that same dish in other places. None EVER like the one I got tonight. Totally blew off a long-time customer. So disappointed, will never go there again. That establishment has really gone down over the years. So sad…
