Stopped by the Grove Starbucks and left wondering if I accidentally walked into the friendliest place in town. Even with a line, the store was clean, organized, and moving fast.
Torah, Marissa, and Kelsey deserve a standing ovation (or at least a free coffee). They were juggling drinks, taking orders, and keeping the line moving like pros — all while smiling and somehow staying cheerful. I don’t know what they’re putting in the espresso, but their good attitudes might be stronger than the caffeine.
My drink was perfect, my order was right, and I left in a better mood than when I walked in. If customer service were an Olympic sport, this crew would be bringing home gold for Grove.

I went inside to order, was very clean inside…/spoke with a customer who said their order was perfect and butter was able to spread on muffin. Alot of times it’s hard and unspreadable…

9/10 visits they make the drink wrong and I have to return. I took a few months off from going hoping there would be some turnaround with the staff but the last two days, same issue. I’m not getting anything complicated, just chai teas, iced coffee or matcha lattes. The matcha is often bright bright green and not fully mixed so you get chunks of matcha in every sip yet magically if you ask them to remake it, it comes out the perfect color and texture. I’ve resorted to paying for extra chai pumps because this store cannot make a standard chai that doesn’t taste like milk. Either their pumps are filthy dirty and clogged or they’re just lazy and not doing a full pump. Either way, a barista should see the color of these drinks and know it’s not done correctly. I’ve been ordering the same drinks for over ten years and this is the only Starbucks I’ve ever been to that consistently can’t get it right. One offs happen but when it’s almost every visit, that’s really not cool. This store is clearly really struggling with quality. at least they’ll remake things correctly but they’re not really apologetic or even friendly about it… it’s a very odd atmosphere in there. Wish we had better options in town. Someday soon I’ll just learn to make the same drinks at home.
