Best Portuguese food since I visited Saint Michael’s, Azores. Well worth the trip service was fast and friendly.
My wife and I just came back for a 2nd time, and I must say our server was nice and pleasant however, the food wasn’t as good as our 1st time. My shrimp wasn’t cleand and our codfish cakes didn’t have much cod in them. Not to sure what changed from my 1st vist. We probably will not be back for a 3rd time.

Best Portuguese food in the area hands down. Restaurant had a major remodeling so its much much nicer and comfortable . You wont best the food taste, quality ,and service . Go there , your welcome !

Easy place to spot, looks a lot like a sports club but that’s normal for Portuguese restaurants. Not all the waitresses spoke English but I’m Spanish so we understood each other. The food is awesome, I had the steak with shrimp on a garlic sauce comes with rice, fries and fried egg descent prices, just know that in CT if you spend more than $100 tip automatically is included so look at your check before adding and signing. The only bad thing that I experience was at the entrance, there was a huge garbage bag and well smell really awful so that was the only negative thing, you had to go thru that to get in as it was in the front door. Other than that I would totally come back

The worker brought out my food in under 3 minutes. She was very nice. And it smelt like lavender. And my medium well steak was the best. And the server was my friend. Highly recommend. There is also a play room. My kids loved ❤️

I was in the area and came across the place. When you walk in it looks a Big Vacant dance hall. Keep walking around the corner and you get to the host station.
I ordered the Steak with Fried egg. I’m happy that I speak a little Portuguese because the waitress only speaks Portuguese. She was as nice as can be and was very attentive to everyone in the restaurant. I ordered my Steak medium rare and it was so tender and the egg was done medium as well. I will definitely be coming back.

Was there last night and was looking forward to having an enjoyable time since I’ve heard great things about this restaurant. The menu has no drinks listed, you have to ask or guess what they have. The food took an hour and 15 minutes to reach our table and my husband’s food was disgusting — pasta and vegetables were cold and grilled chicken was raw. We took the chicken out and asked them to finish cooking it, they brought it back from the kitchen still raw. We send the entire plate back. The manager came— no apologies for the inconvenience, and said she would remove the dish from our bill. When I went to the register to pay, it wasn’t removed and I ended up paying $59 for one plate. Will never return.

My family was not treated well by the attendant, I have two autistic children.
As they weren’t sitting still, the attendant spoke to me to control them, I didn’t like the aggressiveness in her speech.
So I don’t recommend this place for special people.
