I’m a truck driver who was passing through the area, and I decided to order from this restaurant based on the great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. The food I received was spoiled and had a very distinctive, unpleasant taste that made it impossible to eat. I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to a good meal after a long drive. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was unacceptable. Definitely not the experience I expected.

I went there to eat Sat, 3/8/26 2pm the atmosphere was not clean, dirty mop with bucket standing in the hallway while we are eating. No menu with list of prices was given to us. they slap me with 1 fish cost $50.00; my jaw dropped and couldn’t do anything about but to pay. It would be nice if they could repaint the wall. After finish eating I was having acid reflux, no vegetables/greens to serve.

The waitress/host greeted me with such warmth and professionalism — hands down the best customer service I’ve ever had at a Haitian restaurant. She made sure everything was packed perfectly, and honestly, she needs to teach a class on hospitality because she set the bar HIGH!
The decor also deserves a shoutout — it truly feels like you’re in Haiti. The atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and full of culture. It made the whole experience even more special.
Now let’s talk about the food — amazing! Fresh, flavorful, and seasoned just right. Every bite tasted like home with love in it. The packaging was neat, clean, and travel-friendly — they really took their time to do things right.

First of all I’d like to thank Kadly for her warm welcome. The setting is very nice and colourful with Tap Tap. The meal is simply delicious. Everything was good. I really enjoyed it. Griot and banane pesé to perfection. Goat was unbelievably good. I congratulate the cook. Musical atmosphere on Friday. I’ll be back to discover the atmosphere. See you soon.

Beautiful place, clean, nice Haitian decoration of the lil truck ‘tap-tap’. I ordered Lalo with white rice and black bean sauce every thing was delicious and a plate of Fritay, the most beautiful presentation I’ve seen. You need to come here, great for families too.

I love Haitian food and was excited that there was now one nearby. I was not eating meat or fish today so I was happy to try their vegetable legume. I called in my order and ordered the vegetable legume. When I arrived about 12 minutes later I got a call and a hang up. I walked in and the man asked my name. I told him and he said he tried to call me. It was right as I arrived with a hang up that I received. He then told me they had no vegetable legume and only lalo which is another vegetable dish ♀️. I wish I would of known that before I came. I asked him questions and trusted his judgment and got it. It was about $13. When I arrived home I dug in and noticed right away there was crab shells, I am guessing for seasoning. I wanted a vegetarian dish and this shouldn’t have had crab. Luckily there was no chunks inside. The lalo was ok, definitely no legume. One good thing was it was soooo filling. All in all I had an ok experience.

Was craving a pate kode and was happy to find that they made them. It was a good size for the price. I rated it 4 stars because I would’ve liked it to be filled with a better mix of meat and veggies. Would definitely purchase again.
