The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. Our server knew the details of every dish on the menu, making it easier for the people who had never been to an Indian restaurant before. Their vegetarian and vegan options are clearly listed, as well. They have a variety of Indian cuisine that everyone enjoyed.

As a recently converted vegetarian, I can honestly say that this is one of the few places to serve tofu and actually cook it well enough to serve it to people who aren’t vegetarian, or who eat meat. It was amazing, staff was friendly, an abundance of options for vegetarians, and the prices were reasonable. Lunch buffet is seven days a week. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing, best buffet ever. Best butter chicken. The place is clean. Mark the manager/owner is so incredibly kind and attentive. The staff were very friendly. We arrived before the buffet time at 11 am. They open the buffet usually at 11:30. They were closing the door but one of the waitresses noticed us from inside and she came and opened the door for us. They went out of thier way to serve us, and they opened the buffet earlier for us. This is the first time I have such a nice experience with restaurant staff. Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had! Easily beats all their metro Detroit competition. Extensive, easy-to-understand menu that also clearly flags (many) items for vegetarians and vegans. Tremendous attention to detail in the (very fresh) food, the clean & cozy atmosphere and service. Prices are surprisingly low for such quality.

The food is delicious. Prices aren’t super cheap but what you’re getting is REAL FOOD. We paid about $13 to $15 for an entree with rice and small curry included.

The night we went they were somewhat understaffed, I believe because they are still fairly new, and there was a mix up with the food. They made sure to make it right and apologize, which was greatly appreciated. We will be back!!

Mint is a badly needed addition to this area. The menu is thoughtful and complete. The chef has great attention to detail and consistency. I honestly have never had better Indian food in this area. So glad they’re here.

This is really unfortunate of me to leave such a negative review like this, and I really don’t want to. However, this was my first and last time at Mint today. Let me preface by saying that the food was excellent.

The problem was the service. I went on Saturday night at 7:30PM and was one of perhaps three other tables. They were not busy at all. After being seated, I was given papad and chutney… but no water to drink or a menu. After a few minutes, a different person walked by and filled my glass with water but didn’t take drink orders or give us a menu…

At this point I’m a little surprised because I go out to eat a lot and this has never happened to me on this level. We wait, and time how long it is before our waiter (I don’t even know if we had one?) finally gave us a menu (and didn’t apologize).

Another twenty minutes go by before I finally have to stop someone walking by and let them know we’re ready to order. The person who originally sat us came by and took our order. I was finally able to order a drink.

Another ten minutes goes by and our waiter brings our appetizer to the table but not my drink. Finally, a bit later they bring my drink and they apologize – not for the super slow service they’ve given – no. They apologized for the drink because it took them a long time to bring me it.

Our food arrives. As I said earlier, it was fantastic and Mint is no exception in terms of quality. I loved what I ordered.

However, after being there for nearly two hours, I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon. There are other Indian restaurants in the area that I have gone to for years that I know and love. I think I might stick to them for now. Sorry, Mint.

I really enjoyed my food. The food is great. The service is quite slow and somewhat awkward. It was not busy at all when I visited. The atmosphere was quite calm, yet bare..it wasn’t really warm or inviting to be honest. But the food was amazing and I will surly get takeout from here regularly.
