At age 57, Don Alfredo Bellinghieri had a vision and lived semi-retired in San Felipe, Baja California with his lovely wife Aurea, where they spend their time running a 48 room hotel Las Palmas in the Sea of Cortez. Today, at Alfredos, you can view the gallery of pictures of many celebrities that he hosted in Mexico City, try fine food, wild caught fish,steak, seafood and home-made pasta, dressings, bread.

This restaurant in SF is a must. If you’re in town and plan on a nice night out, this is the restaurant to choose. Service was exceptional. Constant attention from the polite and friendly staff. The menu selection had a bit of everything, specializing in seafood and pasta. We both had fish, and they were definitely flavorful (one was with pasta). My fish of the day was finished with black butter. Very nice. I didn’t get to try any of their specialty pastas, but hopefully on another trip here I will get a chance. All made fresh on-site!There was live music playing and he was very good. He didn’t play too loud as to prevent dinner conversion, but just loud enough to be a perfect backdrop for a good dinner!

Love this place. Chicken Alfredo was so good. Everything is homemade. Definitely want to come back and try the pizza. The entire place is dog friendly, which can be hard to find. Shaded patio as well. Very very good frozen margaritas!

My sister in law treated me to dinner at Alfredo’s. I have been doing the snowbird trip for years and had never been to this restaurant. Please go to this restaurant because the atmosphere is wonderful, beautiful music by brother and sister and fabulous food with best service I have ever experienced. You will feel so good and happy. It’s a wonderful place. AND they have been here for many years.

Omg this is one of the BEST Italian restaurants I’ve been to. I had the shrimp Alfredo and my friend had cordon bleu. (Sorry they aren’t better pictures.) Live music, clean restaurant with relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food. Highly recommend.
