By the time the food was charged all the fees came to $30.00 a sandwich . Pastrami was delicious. However. the place is overrated. The meat was not piled high, as per this place quoted. There was 5 to 6 pieces of meat on the sandwhich. For this price gonna go to the other two places and get what we pay for.

Excellent service and excellent sandwiches. My wife had some pastrami while I had the turkey. Quality food but a little pricey for the amount. If the portions were a little bigger or the price was a little lower it would be 5 star.

I had to pick up some kosher meals for clients and got something for myself at this location. I called in my order and when I arrived I parked in the lot nearby. I walked in and my food was ready and I paid. I ordered the tuna wrap and fries. When I ate everything was good and plenty.

This was my first time ordering from Tenafly Kosher Deli, and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. Perhaps my expectations were influenced by my usual experiences with delis in Bergenfield and Glen Rock, but this takeout order didn’t measure up.
I ordered a combination pastrami and tongue sandwich, hoping for a satisfying meal, but it felt like I received mostly scraps with very little pastrami—the main component I was looking forward to. Additionally, I ordered a kasha knish, which turned out to be mini-sized, unlike what I’ve experienced at other delis.
I really wanted to love this meal, especially since I was hungry and craving a great pastrami and tongue sandwich, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. I hope this feedback is helpful for their improvement.

This is a small deli, one of the few remaining in the NY/NJ metropolitan area. They offer a full range of deli delights, most of which are made on premises. It’s really only a take-out place, as there is only bar seating with stools. The food was excellent and the owners were friendly and talkative. If you’re in the area, go there. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect! Been looking for a good kosher deli since i moved to NJ and this is the one. I will definitely be here a lot. Great selection and very friendly workers/ owners. The matzo ball soup was simple and tasty- so comforting to eat. The potato latkes were the best ive ever had! The pickles were also natural, homemade and perfect. If i lived in the area i would be here 3-5 days a week. But i have to say that it is well worth the journey for me to stop by frequently despite distance.

Who needs to go to Katz’s in the City when you have Tenafly Kosher? Okay, that might be slightly hyperbolic, since Katz’s is a unique experience, but if you want delicious kosher food, you don’t need to schlep across the Hudson to get it. The knishes are always quality, and I love a great potato pancake, which are also done well. The sandwiches are fat and flavorful, and there is a wide variety of deli salads and mixed dishes that will make your eyes bigger than your stomach. Maybe it’s a dollar or two more than some other delis, but if you feel the prices are higher, know that you are getting some quality food, served by a friendly staff. Easy to drive by this place if you don’t know it, so take the time to stop by!

This place has real deal Pastrami (for when you don’t want to go to Katz) – a def must try. Been here many times and I’ve honestly never had anything other than pastrami on rye with mustard. Pastrami is done just right and I would highly recommend it to anyone to go check it out. Inside isn’t anything spectacular, but just go order grad and go – don’t worry about esthetics – trust me. Also staff can be a bit rude and unfriendly (maybe if you’re not a regular) but these types of places are the only ones where I can get over stuff. Check it out!
