If I could give no stars, I would! We placed on online order on 1/30 to be ready at the N. 27th location in Lincoln, Ne. I started off by calling three times, no answer twice and being hung up on. I should have taken that as a key not to place the order but I placed the order at 1pm that afternoon because that is the food that was requested for a birthday celebration. Order wasn’t ready until 5:45pm. My parents picked the order up for me because I live 15 minutes from the location so after finding out about the delay, I called and the manager stated that they don’t offer any discount or anything for late orders but she would give me 2 free apple pies. I told her that was fine. (No apple pies were given in the order) Our order was over $100. We had two family meals with extra sides and biscuits. We got the food home and started serving and found that in one of the boxes of chicken was a bunch of metal pieces from someone’s bracelet. I didn’t have anything on that would have caused this. So I called the location back to tell the manager. They wouldn’t offer any money back and I had to take the chicken back into the location and they would remake it and then she hung up on me. I had a house full of people and that wasn’t feasible. So we threw the chicken away. Unacceptable customer service.

I ordered a larger mashed potatoes. Tried the drive through but no one available, so I have to came inside. Besides to the very little gravy as they always do, this time, a large size mashed potatoes turned out to be only half cup. I asked them why only half? they reply that were three scoops and that they supposed to filled only that much! I don’t care how many scoops. You made a cup for that size, Filled it up! What’s a scam! My family usually order around $100 every week or two but will never eat anything from Popeyes again after this.

Ordered sandwich with bacon and cheese at drive-thru and was charged correctly. When I got home, no bacon or cheese. It was cold, snowy, and rush hour so I didn’t go back, just ate the plain sandwich. Took photos first of inside top and bottom of bun showing no bacon or cheese ever on the sandwich. Went back the next day with receipt and asked for refund of the difference between plain sandwich and one with bacon and cheese. Was told system won’t let them do refunds. This was a cash transaction so no card or app involved. They would give me a free sandwich with bacon and cheese but I didn’t want food. Popeyes isn’t a healthy choice so I don’t go often. I don’t know why they couldn’t have opened the register and given me $2.50 plus tax then made a note for a manager to fix it. This is a small amount and the money doesn’t matter to me as much as them not being willing to do the right thing (for the customer, not for the company). I told them I would leave a poor review and make a complaint so here’s the review. Next thing is feedback to corporate.

Placed order 4 hours ahead of time. Ordered 10 pieces of spicy chicken. Received 8 pieces instead, small and overcooked.

Called several times to see if they could add the pieces the missed, no-one picked up.

Only reason for the second star is that the guy who was putting in all the condiments gave me like a years supply worth.

The food is great like at any other Popeyes, how ever the staff in this location is extremely RUDE, we walked in and I GREETED an employee and what even looked like a manager only to be ignored as the continued their conversation, not a single hi we will be right with you or nothing. It’s simple comman courtesy to greet someone especially as we are entering a business for the first time. And then they made us wait as the continue to fix something. I dont care how much stuff you have going on it never the fault of the costumer that is coming in for business. A very good note will be made and pass on to never stop at this location again.

I ordered at lg combo shrimp and tenders and the girl that worked there today on Friday the 13th of February 2026. Said that one doesn’t come in a lg combo. I showed her a picture on their menu and all she could say was sorry. It clearly says lg combo 10 29 .I was very disappointed in the experience. You need to do better Popeyes.

Worst Popeyes I’ve seen so far. Wait was ~20min. One worker was hustling doing the drive through and mobile orders by herself. I watched one lady in the back make a sandwich for a mobile order only to mess it up and have to redo it. She then stood there doing nothing for several minutes.

When she finally spoke to me at the register she looked annoyed that I wanted to use card and asked if I was sure I didn’t have any cash (as if I’m the reason the card reader is broken/It’s my fault for not using cash?!)

Management please hire more people and fix your machines or something.

Food was fine. Soda tasted good. Do yourself a favor and try a different Popeyes if you can.

I ordered a #1 spicy chicken sandwich and I have no clue that this on it. Cause it certainly isn’t cheese looks more like plastic and tasted horrible. I didn’t even ask for cheese which is what I’m assuming that is. If you look at the top right it’s almost translucent.

Please retrain your workers. This popeyes is the closest to us and the last 2 times were disappointing. Last time was soggy chicken. Today, we ordered ahead and went through the drive thru. Worker at the window told us to park and wait. Waited for 10 minutes and we decided to go in to check. We overheard that one of the workers there didn’t want to bring out the food to us so we just grabbed it and left. Who knows how long our food was sitting out for? Also, went home and found out that our order of 10 pieces of fried chicken = only 8 pieces? Seems like this is isn’t the first time either. Stop apologizing and actually do better.
