This place was awesome!! They had Grit TV on (westerns channel). Friendly down home atmosphere. It is 1 1/2 hours away, but we will be back. Had the hamburgers midway. Meat was fresh and the buns was fresh and full of flavor. Only complaint was some.of the wings had some freezer burn taste.
Beer was cold and the back porch seating was wonderful.
Can’t wait to get back.

I used to come here with my father back in the 80’s when I was a teen. We would go fishing on the river with Ed Robinson. We always had a great time and the staff was always friendly and the food is great! I plan on visiting again, hopefully soon, it’s been a few decades, and I’m sure things have changed a bit, but that area is home to me.

My brother, my nephew and I, returned for our periodic river trip down the North Fork of the Flambeau River from Robinson’s Landing to Holt Landing. Our family has been taking the river trip periodically since 1960. Guides Austin and Tim took us down the river in rubber fishing rafts. It was so comfortable, and the two guides were great. We had fun going down the rapids, the scenery was fantastic, and we caught Fish. The wildlife photography opportunities were amazing. The shore lunch was lots of fun. We returned to Midway bar after the fishing trip for our customary beer, fish tales, and meal. The walleye plate was as good as any I’ve had in northern Wisconsin. I hope you have a chance to experience trip. Shane has always been helpful to us getting our trips together.

Nice bar to stop and get an old fashion. For food I would get the steak sandwich with mushrooms and onions. Ranked top 5 best in the northwoods! Fair priced and good people.

Had an amazing experience with Shane and Molly. Walked into my second home. Reconnected friends with I haven’t seen in years and made new friends with many new faces. Embraced some adorable children spoiled them with attention kindness and money for ice cream
Beautiful atmosphere wonderful menu delicious pizza. Returned for their anniversary party which was legendary. Talented cooks smoked meats were amazing. Hands down the best bar atmosphere I’ve had in years. Can’t wait to return.

If you’re anywhere near Shane & Molly’s Midwest Bar&Grill, don’t miss out! Shane’s Chili Pizza is a must! Their property is beautiful and the staff is so wonderful! The Ribeye steak was delicious! Keep this on your “must eat” list!

Went for a Friday fish fry, and it was packed (a good sign). The fish fry starts at 5pm and we got there at 5:10. We put our order in by 5:30 and dinner was ready around 6:30. Be prepared to wait, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you want to have a few drinks, shoot pool, or play Big Buck Hunter. Depending on the time you get there, there may not be adequate seating available while you wait for your table. Not a big deal, unless you’ve got impatient kids. The food was good and reasonably priced. Our waitress (and perhaps chef) was pleasant, but the bar service could have been a bit friendlier.
