Easy to reserve a table online! The atmosphere was a warm welcoming vibe. We got there right when the kitchen was closing and they treated us as if we were the first customers of the day! The food was amazing & I didn’t take a picture of our desert 2 cannolis …. Best EVER in my 32 years on earth! My husband & I will be back & highly recommend!

What an amazing lucky find for us after our original choice not working out for us on our anniversary night. Our drinks (“Pain Killer” – a rum coconut pineapple drink and the “Partly Claudia”) were delicious. The focaccia was what I’m always hoping for when I order it at other places. The grilled salmon was some of the best I’ve had – cooked perfectly and delicious, and the eggplant parm so flavorful. For dessert we had a delicious affogato with Frangelico and salted caramel gelato, and a plum crumble with a wonderful balance of flavors. Capped it off with one of their new drinks, the Boston Cream Pie: dark chocolate liqueur, Baileys, and lemoncello. Our server Alexa was a joy to be with, took great care of us, and guided us through the offerings. What a wonderful place!

Great spot, has a nice ambiance in the interior and sidewalk seating for nice weather. I’ve eaten here twice. The first time I order pizza, The Red Eye and The Paulie, both were exceptional flat bread style pizzas. The second time I got the pork chop. It was amazing, perfectly tender, crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth at the same time. The owner is has been working behind the bar (where I sat) both times I’ve been, and he provides the best of service and is very friendly. Very convenient spot right down town, I’ll be back again.

Excellent food, tasty drinks, and a nice, clean atmosphere. We went to visit our son at UNH and went here for dinner. The appetizers, drinks, entrees, and dessert were all excellent. Our server was kind and friendly, and she was on top of everything. Towards the end of the meal, the owner stopped by the table to say hello, thank us for coming, and to make sure everything was okay.
Hands down, I’d highly recommend Ciao to anyone looking for a nice dinner and dessert. Although the menu is small, it’s enough to accommodate a whole family’s taste. Ciao is definitely one of those hidden gems that checks off all the boxes!

We hosted our wedding welcome drinks in the private event space downstairs at Ciao and it was fantastic! Coordinating with the team ahead of time couldn’t have been easier, and Isabelle reached out proactively to touch base with us or offer input on any questions we had. When the night came – our guests had a BLAST. The space is warm and inviting, and the bartenders made sure that none of our ~70 guests had an empty glass. Some of our friends ate upstairs beforehand and had great things to say about the food. We did a light assortment of apps for the event and people were raving about the meatballs – so much so that we brought a few orders home. Thank you to Isabelle and the Ciao team. We had to drag most of our guests out which is a tell-tale sign of a great event. This was a perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend and we can’t wait to stop back next time we are in the area!

Had our anniversary dinner for 4 tonight a special occasion and was very disappointed. We are frequent patrons since they’ve opened but after tonight.
Our drink orders took over 20 minutes to be delivered.
Steak tips were well done and very tough and too salty, we requested med rare.
Wait staff was inattentive and didn’t clear all our plates until checkout.
We were comped for part of the two meals but my sister couldn’t eat any of her meal.
Sad we really liked the restaurant not up to par..

We dine here quite frequently and like the food and atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is always served hot. Recently they were short staffed and Ed, the bartender served us. I had a drink last season which hasn’t been on the menu for awhile (the restaurant likes to change the menu on occasion to keep it “fresh”). I had no recollection of the drink’s name but recall it had whiskey as one of the components. The bartender, Ed, went out of his way, finding former menus and he figured out the drink for me. I really appreciate how he took the time on a busy night to help out. I highly recommend Ciao.

This was our first visit and we were impressed by the ambience of the restaurant. The service was good and we enjoyed our server, Meagan. The portions were large, actually more than we could eat. But we were disappointed in the entre, chicken piccata. We did expect it to be breaded. We have never had it breaded before did not enjoy the heaviness of the dish. We will go back, but try a different dish next time.

The food was delicious and the staff was top notch. Ed was so fun to have as our bartender we had a great time. Go for the half price pizza and beers Thursday nights. Gourmet pizzas-just amazing!

Food was good, Opera Cake was amazing!
Staff was excellent and it was nice that the owner stopped by our table twice and we had a nice conversation at the end of our visit!
It was a special treat because our daughter sent us a gift card from California as a Christmas present and we used it as a Valentine’s dinner this past Sunday. She had visited us during the Summer and went to Ciao with a friend and thought we would like it!
She was right about that!
This was our first date night dining inside a restaurant since Covid-19 almost 2 years ago!
Thanks for a nice experience!
