4.5.24 Gave it another shot and ended up surprisingly happy I did. The service was the best! So incredibly helpful. While we were only there for nachos and a couple of drinks, I’m so happy that I revisited because it was as I remember from the first visit. Delicious and great staff!
Update 02/26/23 brought friends only to disappoint them. Apparently Salsa Verde had a party the prior night (Saturday) and ran out of meat. Our server told us they were sorry but couldn’t accommodate any of our orders because it was decided that since they’re closed on Monday, it would be best not to order any meat. So anyone going there Sunday was in for a huge disappointment. It was a huge disappointment because it’s such a beautiful establishment, and I have had great service in the past but I don’t know that I could ever refer a restaurant that didn’t feel they should have meat.
Great service. I can’t trace enough about how accommodating and friendly they were. The food equally delicious. Had the Nachos, Burrito with steak, my girlfriend had the steak tacos. Will definitely be back

Sign in window about a bad review from Yelp drew me in and of course I had to try the “worst fish taco” the reviewer ever had. Turns out the fish Taco was the best thing I ate! Also had steak and shrimp tacos that were small but good.
Off the menu I asked for chicken wings, came out w/ 3 sauces and rivaled any wing place.
Sorry Salsa Verde ran into a bitter Yelper I can personally disagree with, glad they have a sense of humor.

Salsa Verde is a family-owned restaurant which offers traditional Mexican food; a welcome addition of variety to Northern Westchester restaurants.
I’ve had a few different offerings here (steak quesadillas, salsa con tostadas, the mango habanero chicken wings), but what brings me back are the tacos. I’ve tried quite a few and enjoyed all of them; the bites are simple yet delicious.
They also have a number of tasty cocktails; though I’ve sampled a few and none have disappointed, my favorite is the Salsa Verde Margarita.
The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive; during my dine-in visits, I’ve found that they go the distance to make sure that customers are happy and get what they want.
Whether you’re a local or in the area, I heartily recommend Salsa Verde.

My new favorite local spot. Started with the Guac, Oaxacan dead drink and Chimichurri skirt steak, rice & black beans. Loved everything. Nice atmosphere inside. Friendly waitstaff and the band tonight was great! Will def be back again soon!

Definitely better than other options in the area. Makes authentic tacos with many options for fillings and excellent margaritas (I recommend the house [Salsa Verde] margarita over the cheaper one).
Dealing very professionally with the COVID-19 pandemic – you can order via phone and have contactless curbside (down to giving card number via phone so no cash/card has to be exchanged) or walk up to do take-out. I really wish they took online ordering to streamline the process.
Looking forward to the next time I am able to have a sit down meal at Salsa Verde, but very happy with the to-go experience in the interim.

I finally found my favorite taco place! The pork and pineapple tacos are delicious.
The drink menu is also great. Unique and interesting. I tried the Watermelon Margarita and it was amazing!

Ate here with our kids on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was spotless and cozy and all health protocols strictly adhered to. We ALL enjoyed our food which is hard to achieve with my picky crew. They make everything homemade, including the margaritas (they don’t use a mix) and AMAZING salsa verde and various sauces. It was all so fresh and delicious. We had guacamole and nachos, pork tamales, tacos and margaritas. Also had friendly and efficient service. Great experience all around and can’t wait to return. Thanks Salsa Verde for a wonderful evening!! We’ll be back soon!!

Where do I begin…..Someone there is a thief!!!! I left a cash tip with my check (I used to be a server and I know cash tips are better than credit card tips) and Whoever entered my check into their system added an additional $18 tip on my card. I know they have cameras there and I would like to see who was the person responsible for this. Apart from this, the service was absolutely terrible. My husband is never one to say this but at one point he said let’s not order anything and just pay for what we have received but I wanted to give them a chance. It makes me sad because I really wanted to love them. The only positive was that the fish tacos were good but no one else at my party was content with the food. Our appetizer came out 20 mins before our drinks came out. They didn’t even bother bringing water to the table with our appetizer. I want that additional tip refunded immediately. I would never refer this place and I’m all about giving restaurants second chances but stealing is not acceptable.

Worst Mexican food I have ever had. Ordered chips and salsa. They brought three store bought corn tortillas whole that had been thrown in a deep fryer still dripping in oil. The salsa was green and the blandest I have ever had. I ordered beef tacos and the beef had been seasoned with Rosemary… it’s supposed to be cumin!! Worst experience ever and was expensive for Mexican. The staff were attentive, but that’s all I can say that was positive. I would not recommend it.
