The first time I ordered it was delicious! Second time it was ok! Third time was simply disappointing. The salmon was dry and overcooked and my brown stew chicken was a lil dry as well. We ordered 5 meals and asked for extra gravy even had the young lady repeat the order verifying the gravy!! And od course no extra gravy and what was there was soaked up in the paper container the food was served in!!!

The service was fast. They didn’t have change for a buck so I had to use my card. I wasn’t happy with the little .50 charge, but I understand it was early. This is a small place, but the kitchen was nice and busy. I do appreciate being able to see what’s going on back there. I ordered a large curry goat with cabbage rice and peas. The curry has just enough spice. ❤️❤️❤️ I will return with smaller bills

Travel to get to the restaurant. The Young lady & gentleman that serve me was very professional & polite. Thank You. The meal, Curry Chicken, was very good. Will return to try other dishes on the menu.

One of the best Jamaican restaurants in New Haven. This restaurant is owned and run by a loving Jamaican family that know how to throw down in the kitchen. I actually had ordered more food that wanted to take pictures of and add to the post, but by the time I realized it, was too late! I ate it! lmao the food is just that good and I was really hungry #thepowerofgoodcooking

Went here for the first time on Saturday. I ordered a steam fish platter. It was phenomenal. They make the fish to order. I waited 20mins. It was worth the wait. The staff is amazing. The owners are great. I felt like I knew them personally but it was my first time. It was a clean welcoming environment. From the music that greets you, I felt like I was in Jamaica. Jammin Jamaican Cuisine great job! I’m hoping that they can fine a sit down location. I will definitely be back! If you haven’t tried….Run don’t walk, it a must try!!!!

Really nice and friendly joint. Tried this place for the first time the other day as I’ve been looking for some good Jamaican food in New Haven. Rice and peas on point, jerk chicken is good but don’t get it with the jerk sauce, opt for gravy instead. I wish the patty was a little softer and not as crispy, too much crumbs. I also wish I could have ordered a small order of oxtail, but they only sell it medium and large. Other than those minor things the food was very well seasoned and flavorful. Thank you for an overall pleasant experience!

By far, the best Jamaican food I’ve had in this area for a while. Owners and employees quite pleasant and the presentation of food is superb. I order jerk chicken for my children and salmon for myself. Salmon was excellent each time I purchased. It was fresh and seasoned to perfection. They even sell dumplings.. Impressed.

My whole family eat here 2x a week. Me about 4x. The food is amazing just like home. Everything made fresh to order so call ahead cause the food sells . I love the whole staff just as much as they food im always greeted with a smile (I mean all teeth), theyre all family here. Oh yeah the prices are great. $20 for the fish platter the portions are large no matter what size platter you get . Always get the fish platter and small jerk chicken only and its like 26 . But even if it was 1000 it’s to good to not pay for it . Promise you try it.
