Take out | Dinner | $30–50
Last night we ordered take out from Asini’s. It has been a while since we’ve ordered from them due to previous encounters. We thought we’d give them another try. Hubs ordered the Carnivore pie and I got the Alsini calzone w onion. His pizza was cooked well and looked great, however, my calzone was FRIED. Who deep fries a calzone? Why not use the wood fired Pizza oven? I was so disappointed. It was so hard around the folded edges, I couldn’t chew it and it was extremely greasy. On top of that, prices have increased and they are now adding a 3% credit/debit card surcharge on orders. We try hard to support local businesses but that was our last trip to this establishment. The 2 star rating is for the pizza. Hubs said the taste was good but for $24, a 12″ pizza is a rip off.

My family and I had an amazing experience. We tried it for the first time and we are so pleased. The service was friendly, pleasant and the food was served in a timely manner following each entry. We had an appetizer, salad, chicken Parmigiana, lasagna, and chicken piccata. Everything was delicious. We finished the experience with Italian lemon cream cake and caramel gelato dessert. Everything was delicious!!!! Definitely a place we will come back again and again.

I was starving and my fiance suggested Asini’s. I’d never been before, so we went!
What a cozy little pizza place! The atmosphere was awesome. The decor was very cute! I loved the plants in the windows.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though they were a little short staffed today, they made sure we were taken care of.
We ordered 2 pizzas (Margherita and White) and a Greek salad to split. All of it was absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients, plenty of cheese (I’m from Wisconsin, cheese is a must) and the perfect amount of garlic!
We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Wonderful food for the best price! They had a deal to get 2 pizzas for only $14 and they were not small! Not only were they pretty large, but they were extra cheesy and delicious. The appetizer bread was also delicious with homemade marinara and basil’s with olive oil.

We decided to dine here on a whim and my mind was completely blown! We will be adding this place to our weekly “go out to eat spots” literally every week. I absolutely loved my time here. Our server Niki was so kind and on top of everything we needed. We tried her recommendations and I was never disappointed. We will 150% be returning!

We happened on Asini’s last weekend when we were camping in our RV near Crawfordville. Usually we cook but wanted to avoid the heat. We love Italian and decided to give Asini’s a try and we were so glad we did! The menu is small but has everything you could want. We split a bruschetta appetizer that was delicious. We got lasagna and chicken Marsala for our entrees and chose the side Caprese salad (a very nice option). The lasagna was great but the Marsala was really exceptional. We took lemon cake and tiramisu to go and both were excellent. The portions and prices are excellent. It’s not a fancy restaurant but was very clean and service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend Asini’s!

Asini’s is great new restaurant in Crawfordville. We appreciate now having a good local pizza place. The pizza was well prepared and tasty. The service was fast and accurate. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We cannot wait to go back and try some of their pasta dishes and appetizers. They don’t have an extensive menu but it appears wha they do, they do well and that is what we are looking for in a restaurant.

Really good pizza…right in Crawfordville.
We have been multiple times. It was amazing twice and good a third time.
The Buffalo chicken pizza is OUT OF CONTROL good. Margherita and shrimp with white sauce are also really good.
Super nice staff.
Cold beer, great pizza and service

The shrimp scampi was good, but the portion size for the amount of money spent is extremely distasteful. It was definitely an appetizer side pasta size, for an entree price.
I had a side salad that came with it and it had one spinach leaf, one basil leaf, 2slices of tomato, and 2 pieces of cheese. Like I said the shrimp scampi taste good, but not worth the money for the portion received. I did move the placement of the leaf on the salad, but this is the so called salad.

Never been to a restaurant quite like this. Service is unlike most sit down restaurants, you have to do nearly everything yourself. They do deliver the food to your table. I’d agree it’s pricier then other places on the north coast, which would be fine it the experience matched. My pasta was mid at best. Wouldn’t recommend if you’ve had authentic Italian eats in your life.
