This is my 2nd year of enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Dave. Again, really delicious food, and extremely well packed. The $30 price for the complete dinner, including dessert – the same price as last year, seemed very reasonable in these times of inflation. Service was prompt and professional, and they fully accomodated my special request for dark meat only. I highly recommend Wandering Dave’s- both his restaurant and his food truck. We’ve used Dave’s food truck at 4 events now. Delicious food, fairly priced, promptly served with a smile. Dave is a community gem. Nancy Teague, CEO, Putnam Service Dogs.

Was in the Brewster area to train for my new job, this spot was right next door. The food is amazing and affordable something hard to find in this economy. A sausage egg and cheese good sized sandwich for $5!!!! You can’t beat that. I suggest also getting the home fries which are one of the best I have ever had for just $4. That’s a meal for less than $10. Sorry about the picture below but it smelled so good and tasted even better I couldn’t resist digging in before taking a picture. My only complaint is that there isn’t one near me, so if you’re in the Brewster area DEFINITELY stop by here.

Wow I had a fantastic dinner here the other day! We stopped by on our way to another event so we didn’t want to have too many leftovers and decided to share some things. Well we over ordered, of course, but I’m not disappointed! The guy at the front was SO friendly. They have a very unique menu ranging from chicken sandwiches, to ramen, to pork chops. We decided to get the buttermilk chicken sandwich, the Mac n cheese, and the truffle fries. Everything was fantastic and I highly recommend it. I’m honestly just trying to figure out another excuse to get up to that area so we can eat there again!

I’ve been looking forward to trying this place for a while but the stars never aligned until today when I decided to meet a friend there for lunch. We hadn’t seen each other in a while so we were chatting while looking at the menu at the front counter. We were the only two customers in the restaurant at the time. When I asked the guy behind the register a question he didn’t even look at me and seemed annoyed, I was immediately uncomfortable. I ordered a sandwich and asked about sides – French fries. I have a shellfish allergy so I asked if they used the same oil for everything. He asked me if I had an allergy, I said yes, and he literally told me EVERYTHING they make there touches shrimp and there’s nothing on their menu I can eat – literally and unapologetically. I realize that there will be things I can’t eat due my allergy however every place I’ve ever been to has offered a solution or compromise. Zero effort, zero f’s given by this guy SO, if you have a SHELLFISH allergy and ever eaten here and had some sort of reaction, this is why. Menu looks tasty in any event and the space was clean so for that.

Please stop accepting mediocrity as excellence. The reviews about this place suggests otherwise. It is extremely sad when an owner can’t respond to some private but negative criticism about their restaurant. It seems they’re more concerned about their catering business than the actual physical establishment that holds their future and the reputations of the young men and women that work there. This review is in support of the young people working there but they are set up to fail by an owner that fails to take OWNERSHIP!! The front of house was amazing, as they were affable and knowledgeable but the food was extremely subpar. The wings were either parboiled, par-baked, or I’m aghast, perhaps microwaved. They were not worth the 40 minutes drive despite the many positive reviews, although the garlic smelled AMAZING!! And when an owner can’t be bothered to respond to two emails in private before a social media post that tells you loads about the owner’s priorities, which are not with you as a customer or the employees who proudly were their logo. The attempt at being rustic and country failed as some of the tables and doors are showing rust and wear and grease stains from people pushing doors open. There’s a fast food wing establishment, many miles away but they are thousands of miles better than this poor excuse for an establishment. They pride themselves on the fact that they are farm to table food service. Their attempt is laughable!

As far as eats go
The have some good stuff… the panzanella and the chicken sammich are slappin and stood out the most but the noods were wayyyyyy too salty. Overall solid tho, wish they were more of a sit down spot than a take out joint

This place is amazing! On a whim we decided to come here and thrilled we did! The chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly and the ramen with ginger miso was spot on. The apps were on point with portions and quality.

We just had Dave and his son here with their food truck for a company event. They arrived right on time and were ready to go, serving up their amazing selection of sandwiches in record time. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the food and fries. Dave was also able to help me on very short notice and at a reasonable rate. We look forward to having them back!

I had the most delicious and HUGE burger I’ve ever had and it was amazing. It’s called the crushed melt in case you want to order. The fries were super crispy and flavorful, especially with the parmesan and garlic added.
