If you’re looking for excellent BBQ served with genuine hospitality, I highly recommend stopping by Leroy’s if you’re anywhere in the area. I always judge ribs by how good they are without sauce, and the owner nailed it – the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor, no sauce required.
I decided to stop in after reading other great reviews while on my way to Pomona State Park, and I’m so glad I did. I had ribs, a hot link (a spicy sausage), and sides of beans and tots. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and clearly made with care. The homemade ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert was a fantastic way to finish the meal.
A big thank-you to the owners, Doug and Michele, who checked in often and made the visit extra enjoyable with their friendly conversation. Great food, great people – I’ll definitely be back!

Great bbq. We had the deep fried ribs, bbq baked beans, potato salad, and okra. Also tried the pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious. For dessert we had their cinnamon rolls which were very good. Got to talk the owners and thier family everyone is very polite and nice. Great place, people and food. We will make sure we stop more often as we pass through.

The best fried ribs ever! I literally found this place on accident last year and the ribs were amazing. I said if I ever got a chance to come back to Kansas I would go out of my way to go back and make sure it wasn’t a fluke. I got my chance to go back today and man they are the best fried ribs ever confirmed by a second visit. The family is so nice and the customers themselves were extra friendly. I would have to say this is one of the best barbecues I’ve had in sometime. I’ve taken many barbecue and butchering classes, and had 7 smokers at one time.
What Larry has created here is as close to excellent barbecue as you’re going to find. I spend Winters in Texas, nothing is this spot on. The ribs are still moist and the rub is perfect for my palate. The brisket was like a tender roast beef but you can taste the smoke in the meat. I tried the spicy sauce and the regular sauce and they were both very good but the brisket and ribs did not need any sauce at all.
The baked beans were probably one of my favorite three I’ve ever had. There was plenty of meat in it and the overall sweetness and barbecue flavor smoked flavor was yummy.

What a great place! It is a wonderful family who owns it, and the best ribs I’ve had in many years!!! We get ribs, fried okra, baked beans, and to top it off, a home made ice cream sandwich!!! We go there at least twice a month!!!! I highly recommend their food & the homey, friendly atmosphere!!! They try so hard to provide just what their customers want!!! Thanks for everything!!! I am still stuffed from lunch!!! ❤️❤️

In a quaint and homely little restaurant, I had a wonderful dining experience. The staff was quite pleasant and personable. The Po’ Boy sandwich was delicious and well portioned. The Okra was spot on delicious. Although, personally I would have liked a little more crunch on the okra. The fries were exactly what I was looking for in the BBQ setting. To end the visit with the Leroy sandwich with the honey sauce was a complete delight. The tenderness and flavor of the meat is exactly what I wanted. I will return again

Have driven by this place a numerous amount of times and finally had the time to stop in today. I got the Texas burger and fried okra and destroyed it in about 5 min. Will definitely be back!!
