Dope Pho completely changed my perspective. Until I ate here, I thought all pho tasted the same… but I was wrong. Every bite was perfectly balanced, with generous, well-portioned meat throughout. Rich broth, consistent flavor, and not a single spoonful felt skimpy. Definitely a standout. The service wasn’t very inviting. I felt a bit hesitant to ask for anything because of the unapproachable vibe, but the food more than made up for the lack of reasonalable hospitality. Im coming back though I can’t wait to try other items on the menu!

If I had to sum up our recent visit to Dope Pho in one word, it would be “mediocre.” Nothing about the experience really stood out or made us want to come back.
Service was just okay — it took a while for the staff to notice us or check in, and dirty dishes sat on the table until we were ready to pay. The food didn’t make up for it either. The pho broth was pretty bland, and the beef came in clumps that were tough to chew.
On the bright side, the place looks clean and bright inside, and parking was easy to find — definitely a plus.
With so many great Vietnamese spots in Fremont, this just isn’t one we’d choose again.

Dope Pho reminds me of another Vietnamese restaurant that’s been in this exact location for years. The atmosphere is quite aesthetically appealing compared to the other restaurant. Also, the AC seems to be present since it’s much cooler here. The last time I went to this location, it was very hot.
I also like the food here too. I believe that they’re famous for having a short rib pho? Not sure if that’s part of the menu, but I think I seen that on a social media platform. I gotta try it out the next time I come here.
This is place is a really good spot if you’re up to lunch since the process of serving food is simple, not something fancy.

My first time there, had a taste for some Pho. Asked them what what popular, they pointed out a dry noodle dish and a Pho dish. Got one of each. The Pho was just okay, I got spicy beef. Probably would have enjoyed the brisket better. But I’m leaving this review strictly on behalf of my daughter who thoroughly enjoyed her dry noodles. I can’t think of the name but it had shrimp, chicken, and egg rolls. And to quote her, “Sitting here enjoying this bomb food my mom just brought me!”, as she talks on the phone lol. Teenagers Anywho, the lady at the front counter was a dear, she answered all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed, she took the time to explain the differences, etc. There was another customer in there, a returning customer who raved about it, which was why she was back; so that was reassuring. I think next time I’ll try the brisket Pho or just do the chicken or shrimp, and definitely getting that dry noodle one again. Thanks for a lovely first experience DopePho!

I liked the food there, but the flavors are catered more to the general american public with modifications to the original dish.
Bun bo hue is missing pork knuckle and pork blood patties. The noodles were also missing some funk. Maybe it would be helped if customers can have some extra fish sauce/shrimp paste on the side for flavors.
Quails cooked well and lovely seasoned.
My husband tried the bahn mi and likes that there are a good amount of veggies in there.

Service is quick and freshly made. I ordered the chicken grill rice plate. The chicken tasted good, rice is perfectly cooked but the side salad is a joke. Couple pieces of lettuce and tiny amount of shredded carrots. It’s not worth the price I felt. They should add a substantial salad and more stuff to the dish for the price (just as other Pho places do).

The pho is delicious, the customer service is excellent, and I loved the praise music. It’s inspiring to see a business that boldly gives testimony that Christ is Lord and creates such a welcoming atmosphere.

If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese pho, I highly recommend this spot. The beef soup is incredibly rich and full of traditional flavor, while the rice vermicelli is perfectly cooked and delicious. This place really nails the classic pho experience—it’s a true taste of Vietnam.

Ambiance: clean and nice place for friends to meet up.
Food: I didn’t expect the crispy fired noodles look like this haha but the taste is great! The wide rice noodles are stacked and friend in pieces. After dipping in the sauce the good balance crispiness and soggy soup flavor will win your palate.
I tried my friend’s pho and the broth is nice too!
Service: super warm and helpful!
