Priscilla and Jen Watson are WONDERFUL! All the staff are so kind and sweet.
Today was our first time trying this place out and it didn’t disappoint! It’s warm and welcoming. Everything is freshly made and you can tell it’s made with love and care. They offer sugar free coffees! Can’t wait to come back to eat here. It’s also affordable especially for the quality of the amazing food. Thank you for a great Sunday breakfast. ❤️

I can’t say enough about Wayne and his team! We hosted a family reunion in Waxahachie for 30 people. A few weeks before our reunion, our original planned location for dinner was unable to accommodate a family member in a wheelchair. We were scrambling to find a location to host 30 individuals to provide a buffet dinner. We met with Wayne, and he was very accommodating and willing to prepare any type of meal we needed, including items outside of his normal menu. We even had the restaurant after normal restaurant hours. We are so grateful and thankful for all that Wayne did to make our reunion so special!

Morning Table is such a gem in Waxahachie! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being rushed. The staff made sure our drinks was always full and checked in just the right amount.
The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Everything tasted homemade with a thoughtful touch. The portions were generous, and you can really tell they care about quality ingredients.

I’ve never had such fancy coffee! I was immediately blown away by the drink menu, as they had craft coffees and mocktails in their own separate section. I ended up trying the espresso mocktini, which was so smooth and surprising! They had a diverse menu selection, from salads and sandwiches, to “bennys” and omelettes, to pancakes and more. Our waitress was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. It wasn’t very crowded for a Saturday morning, so I was able to enjoy catching up with a friend for a couple hours. Beautiful and inviting but also an intimate bar vibe. Overall I can’t stop talking about Morning Table to friends and family and am excited to go back to try other menu items.

My husband and I go on weekly breakfast dates and we check out different places in town. Needless to say, this was one of the best places we’ve been to. Love the atmosphere, friendly staff, exceptional food, and compatible prices! Their high quality of kitchenware (from cups to utensils, plates, and even napkins) shows intentionality to bring out the highest quality of service and food with affordability. Wayne, the owner, came to our table and shared his vision and passion behind this beautiful place. He wants our city to experience high-end Dallas cuisine in our backyard. I told him this place was better than First Watch, and I LOVE First Watch! You can also take a little stroll around the sidewalk right outside the restaurant to burn off some calories. =)

My mom and I decided to get breakfast ( 8:30a.m.) and try this restaurant, we were greeted as we walked in, waitress came within a minute, got our drink orders and had them fairly quickly, placed our orders, food came out nice and warm, I enjoyed ever bit of mine and mom said hers was great, mom had her eggs done a special way and they did her eggs just like she wanted, (most places miss the order specs of her eggs). I would go back and try another meal.
Update 12-18-2025 wife and I did the after hours meal here, food was great, very tasty, if you go you won’t be disappointed.

This was the second time my wife and I have been here. The first time was for breakfast which was great. Wife had an omelet and had “The Usual” which was 2 eggs or choice, sausage patties, hashbrowns, and toast. One item we really loved was the appetizer of sausage balls and gravy with jalapenos. Food was hot and fresh and service was great.
This evening, we realized they were open for dinner. Thinking we were going to have breakfast items, we were surprised they had dinner items. It is something they are trying out with a limited menu which is not available online at this time. Wife had the chicken dish which comes with green beans and potato cakes. She loved the dish and the sauce that is glazed on the chicken. I had the cheeseburger with a bacon onion jam. This thing was amazing! We also tried the cauliflower appetizer that had a truffle sauce over it.
Want to try a new place in town? Then this is the place to try!!

I’ve been twice. The first time 01/0/26, I ordered the steak with eggs and fries. The steak was not good. They did give me a discount. I assumed the manager would check in, but he did not. Our waitress was wonderful, though.
I decided to try them again today. I got the kids meal with pancakes, eggs, and a piece of bacon. The pancakes tasted sour. We asked our waitress if they were made with lemon juice, sour cream, but just regular pancakes according to eho she asked. I went with a coworker and she agreed. We ordered the same thing. We did not eat the pancakes. Again, no manager interaction. He just sat at the bar. Had the same waitress and again she was great!!!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Morning Table! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.
Every dish we ordered was perfectly prepared—full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The Steak and Eggs was a highlight and something I’ll be coming back for again and again. Amazing taste and cooked perfectly!
Service was top-notch. Our server Paola was super attentive! It’s clear the team here takes pride in what they do.
