I got the chicken over rice, and it was very good. So far, they have the best chicken over rice in syracuse. Syracuse halal gyro might be a close second. The owner is really nice. I once arrived when he was closing for the day (I was running late) and he was very kind and got back out of his car and made my order. I recommend this place not only because the food is fresh and tastes good, but also due to excellent customer service. The fries are not that good, but I don’t expect spectacular fries from a gyro place, so that’s okay.

Habibi food truck is parked outside in front of Oasis. I got the vegetarian falafel over rice with lettuce and tomato. There was even a grape leave packed inside, plenty of falafel balls, rice, (the really good stuff), and a white sauce and he asked if i wanted hot sauce (appreciated that!) and i said just a little, and it was the perfect amount. There were pita strips on top. It was all very fresh and delicious, and it was more than enough for a couple meals. Very reasonably priced too, $10.
I was also impressed that he changed gloves between handling meat and making my vegetarian food, and also when exchanging money. Very professional and I will definitely be back here!
I included a couple photos to give you an idea what it looked like. These were taken from me sampling it in my car in the parking lot of Trader Joe’s up the road. The smell of the food was so tempting, I could not wait till I got home. lol oh and it looked and tasted much better than the photos show! 🙂
Make sure you go into OASIS grocery store too! It’s fabulous!

I am absolutely obsessed with this food it is so amazing there is nothing around like it I live 45 minutes from the food truck and I will drive 45 minutes twice a week to eat it and you don’t feel sick after like with fast food!!!! So so so good you must try it!!!

Been here for the second time and I can assure you this place is absolutely amazing. This time I order the lamb plate (first time was gyro), and you can tell all the ingredients are as fresh as could be, starting with the lamb and all the way to the veggies. If you’re looking for halal, or just a delicious meal to grab, you won’t be disappointed with Habibi’s. Definitely recommend.

Went to the food truck at the NYS Fair. Got gyros for the whole family. Service was amazing, genuinely friendly, super fast turnaround. And the food itself was AMAZING. We always look forward to gyros at the fair and this was the first time trying Habibi’s and it blew every other gyro out of the water. 10/10 recommend!!
