Six of us, three couples in our 60’s, went to Al’s this past Saturday mid afternoon to celebrate a birthday. Juana was on duty as bartender and server. She was very welcoming and brought menus right away and took drink orders. We ordered several appetizers including Ham and Cheese Balls, Jalapeño Poppers, Pretzel Bites and Chicken Gizzards. The drinks arrived promptly. The appetizers came out hot and were all excellent. For dinner we all had the cheeseburger basket. Like the apps the burgers, onion rings and fries were very tasty. While we were there the owner Jenelle (sp?) came in. She checked in with us right away to ask if we needed anything and stopped back by regularly. A bit later Rayno (sp?) came on duty as Juana left. Rayno is a hoot and fun to visit with. We have been to Al’s several times and have always gotten great service and great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Fun place and we highly recommend Al’s!

The walls are plastered with beer advertising posters. Floor a bit dirty. Toilet facilities okay.
Looks like they have really good specials during the week. We were here on a Sunday.

On Friday nights from 5-7 they have a steak dinner that is good and inexpensive. The steak is always cooked great. The baked potato sometimes over baked and slaw is good sometimes. For the price you can’t go wrong

The bar and the waitresses and the bartenders are the most amazing people there! I would highly not recommend not going there to go play bingo. There is no consistency and what they do and they are so inexperienced at calling numbers and doing their meat raffles and doing the horse races, well pretty much everything associated with what they do! This is the last time that I would ever go there and play bingo. It used to be a lot of fun with the people they had before, they had a handle on the crowd and you could hear the caller, now they’re afraid to even speak up.
