Had a great lunch here, ordered the BBQ Tacos and the Bacon straws. Both were great but I mean can bacon get better everytime… yes it can they were great. Would recommend. Greens were solid and tater tots were great as well.

We decided to give it a try. The pork and chicken BBQ were dry. The Cole slaw didn’t really have any flavor. The hush puppies were good. The broccoli salad was tasty but the big broccoli stalks in the salad we’re a surprise. I took some beef brisket home. That was very good, nice and tender. I won’t recommend the banana pudding. I doubt if I’ll go there again.

Great tasting bbq. Service was absolutely horrible. $135 for 2 people no refills, shorted us on cornbread ordered 4 got 1 . Only 1 person for 11 tables. Absolutely no personal service. If you want great bbq and your rich $$$ and want horrible service then this is the place for you.. I do not recommend..

I came in super early. I ordered a barbecue sandwich platter with mac & cheese and baked beans. The beans were great and the barbecue was great, and the coleslaw was really good. The mac & cheese look like it was fully cooked noodles with shredded cheese, sprinkled on top and microwaved briefly. Not good not creamy and weird texture. My only issue was with the mac & cheese. It was rough. I was so hungry from not eating yet today so I ate it anyways, but still was super disappointed. The service was excellent and the waitress was incredible. She was attentive, kind, funny, and a mix of all of the things that you want in a waitress! The prices were reasonable. The place was a little cold but still comfortable. It was very clean. I highly suggest the pulled pork bbq and cole slaw.

Great little cozy place to enjoy barbecue food. Nice and bright inside, staff is warm and friendly. We tried the brisket, ribs, cucumber salad and Mac and cheese. It was difficult to choose whether I liked the dry rub or sauced ribs better. They both had a nice smoky and prominent black pepper flavor profile. The brisket was equally excellent and tender. I tried them with both of their signature sauces. I felt like one was a little runny and their thicker sauce had a bit too much honey but both were very good and complemented the brisket well. The cucumber salad was really good and balanced all the flavors out. My tastebuds were dancing! The Mac and cheese was smooth and velvety. I really love cakey cornbread and theirs was super awesome, do not miss out on that. If you leave enough room for dessert, really try the cheesecake with their fresh, hot coffee…..you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely return when I’m back by Lake Anna.

Great BBQ. Fantastic comment to getting it right. Had a big catering event and I got a call from Denny when he felt it did go perfectly. He made everything good and we will be using Country Boys again.

We’ve visited this place several times and always enjoy the food and staff. Our latest visit, right after the Christmas Parade, was no exception. Despite being a bit overwhelmed with the crowd from the parade, the staff managed well, and the food was delicious as usual. Our family’s favorite is definitely the brisket.

We had country boys cater our micro wedding (37 people) & it was fantastic!! Denny helped us determine how much to order for the number of people we had. His wife delivered the food and brought everything inside! The food was warm and ready to eat upon arrival. Everyone was raving about how good it was. Personal fav was the ribs! But all of the meat was spectacular. The collard greens, Mac and cheese, and green beans are amazing. They have this incredible cheese sauce for their tater tots. I mean it’s hard to really pick a favorite because it was so good. Highly recommend them for any event!!!
