Little Nicky’s is my favorite pizza spot in the greater Knoxville area. I’ve tried several other spots that were highly rated, and this little joint just outside of Oak Ridge is the real deal. If you like thin crispy pizza, similar to New York style, you will absolutely love this place. The dough taste wonderful, the sauce is flavorful and it’s cooked to perfection. Also, their pastries are to die for. Their tiramisu…. Mmm mmm mmm. Anyhow, do yourself a favor and check this joint out. You won’t be disappointed, even Dave Portnoy would agree IMHO.

This may be the most authentic New York pizza and pastry you will find in Knoxville. My italian grandfather owned a pizzeria in New York, and my father now owns a pizzeria in AZ making his recipes and my uncle owns an Italian pastry shop in Poughkeepsie. So I have pretty high standards for pizza, pastries, and Italian food in general lol. I knew once I saw that they fill the cannoli to order it would be good. The pizza is hand tossed and crispy but not cracker like or bland. We got slices and they were good, but next time I would go when I have more time and order a fresh pie. The cannolis were thin and crispy and had the most authentic orange hint to them that nobody ever does anymore. The lobster tail was so well done. Honestly, I would come here just for the pastries even if they didn’t have pizza. My only complaint is their hours are so hard to make it out here on a week night. This would be our go to pizza place every time if we could make their hours work for our busy schedule.

We are a large family originally from NY…We recently found Little Nicky’s NY pizza, and we are so delighted. We have ordered several pies, the traditional is sooo good, nice thin crust and fresh cheese, the grandma style pie – amazing…. We also have had the desserts, which again are delicious ! Owners and staff are warm and welcoming ! We miss our NY pizza but now found it here is Knoxville !

I hear wonderful things about the pizza, & with that in mind, just go for the pizza & baked goods.
We ordered the little nicky sandwich & a side of meatballs. We waited 32 minutes just for the sandwich to come out stale, dry, & bland. The chicken was black, but not from seasoning, from the grill being black. My partner took 3 bites & was unable to finish. Was a little better with the marinara from the meatballs but for 18$ & a 30 min wait, I was expecting MUCH BETTER. The meatballs were just run of the mill. Nothing horribly special or horribly wrong, just meatballs. I would eat them again, but I wouldn’t seek them out.
With that being said, the fellar behind the counter was nice, the atmosphere was there, it was just a miss with the sandwich. Definitely stick to the pizza.

Amazing! The pizza was excellent! Thin, not a lot of sauce, and good ingredients. Had the bbq Hawaiian pizza. The garlic knots were full of fresh garlic. You might as well buy one of each of the desserts! They are phenomenal!

My husband is from New York and this gives him the little taste of home away from home!
We chose this places over others for our special Valentine’s Day lunch because it’s that good!
The owners are down to earth, real and know how to cook! Highly recommend if you are looking for some good food!
P.S we HAD to get a pie and some desserts to take home for dinner!

Got a pizza for pickup. The website said it would take 40-50 minutes. When we showed up the pizza was already halfway cold. A bit annoying but no biggie, we got home and threw it in the oven. I was really excited since I love me a good NY slice but the pizza was very bland. It wasn’t terrible pizza, but it wasn’t great, and for the price I wouldn’t call it acceptable.

If you have ever been to NYC and gotten authentic NYC pizza by the slice or an entire pie, this is your place. Ok let’s not mention the most amazing pastries made fresh right there. But the pizza is totally the best in the area. We’ve tried so many to find real NYC pizza, sure many say they have it but do not, Little Nicky’s is legit.

A gem! The bakery is what lured me in, the desserts do not disappoint, beautiful stuff and very tasty. The pizza is amazing as well. Watched the owner take dough out of the mixer and hand toss it right in front of me. Nice thin NY style pizza, so good I’d be happy with a plain cheese pizza. The location is small, not much of a sit down and eat sort of place, but they have a few tables and comfortable seats if you wanted to dine in. Lots of character. I think I found my new regular spot for pizza.
