We stopped by on a Friday night and the vibe was electric with live rock music. The food definitely punched above its weight. The Fish Tacos were flavorful and exactly as described, but the Rookie Burger was the star—enormous, juicy, and paired with perfectly crunchy fries. We tried the house Blonde and Red Ale (brewed by Golden Road) and both were solid.

The downside? The service was incredibly slow. While we were seated quickly, it took an eternity to place a drink order and even longer for the food. It got to the point where I almost walked to the bar to grab my own beers.

Great spot if you aren’t in a rush, but they definitely need more hands on deck for the weekend crowd.

I’ve been rocking the Hive since day 1- great vibes, music, sports event access, food and last but not least the service. Lately I’ve been on a kick trying chicken kabobs around at different restaurants locally and I can not lie; the Hive Kabobs are at the top of the list. The chicken is so tender and flavored excellent along with the veggies and the lemon rice is amazing. Its my go to every Sunday while I watch the NFL ticket!! Give a whirl cause its excellent and priced beyond fair. And don’t forget to play your fave songs on the jukebox via your cell phone!!!

I was in Disneyland with the family and I looked for a place to watch all the early football games. I came across this place. Food was good, had a good vibe, and the service was good. It was a good choice. Lots of TVs, all the early games were on.

The Hive is a great neighborhood sports bar with lots of TVs and lots of seating. Their beer menu is pretty good and all of the food items that we have tried have been very tasty. It is a lot better that the Slater’s 50/50 that used to be in this spot.

The reason for 4 stars is because I think there is room for improvement. The food is a little pricey for the quantity, and let me just say that our household completely understands the cost of running a business in CA and the impact of inflation but we have noticed that sometimes the toppings are sparse and some of the price points are a little too high IMHO.

The high top barstools are not super comfortable and if you’re seated under a vent it can be a very chilly dinner. The atmosphere is fine but feels like the decor was rushed for their grand opening and the owner decided it was good enough.

The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5… NO BEER MENU at the table. Every time we have been here the staff is friendly and prompt to get us seated and take our drink order, but they never have a beer list for us to look at. So we have to listen to the server to list off a bunch of beers (sometimes you can’t hear or catch the name) and it always feels like we are put on the spot to make a decision. For a sports bar with a large bar area, there should be a beer menu, just saying.

The Hive is a nice local sports bar and grill with an open space, plenty of TVs, and a mix of bar and table seating. The walls are adorned with sports photos and memorabilia, creating a homey atmosphere. The quirky cardboard cutouts add a touch of fun, even if they seem to be floating around. The restaurant was relatively quiet for weekday lunch, but there was still a nice crowd around the bar and a few games on the TVs.

The menu showcases mouth-watering entrées, appetizers, beers and more. I ordered the fan-favorite Smash Burger. The burger was delicious but a bit too salty for me. The burger was a decent size for the price, and the beef patties were thicker than other smash burgers I’ve had. I also upgraded to onion rings, and those were exceptional. They had a crunchy coating and thick-sliced onions with great flavor and texture.

We also ordered a Giant Bavarian Pretzel to share, which was a bit denser than expected but still a good snack. My friends also ordered fish tacos and The Buzzzzz Turkey Burger. The verdict was delicious, and we left with satisfied tummies.

Overall, it was a good first experience for me, and I’d return to try more items, relax, and catch a game. The staff was attentive and kind as well.

While we were dining, a musician set up on the other side of the restaurant, we didn’t hear them play, but live music is also available.

My family and I stopped in here on the way to visit a friend nearby. Plenty of TVs for sports and the service was exceptional. We got there right before noon on a Sunday and was surprised to see breakfast as an option. My wife and I split a breakfast burrito and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Go for the Sports and enjoy the food!

I brunched at the Hive recently, and while the food was decent, the service was an absolute letdown. The dishes were okay—nothing memorable, but edible and fairly priced. However, the staff’s lack of attention made the experience frustrating. They never asked what we wanted before dropping off food or drinks, leaving us with items we didn’t order and missing ones we did. No one checked on our table even once during the meal, so we couldn’t address issues or request refills. It felt like the staff was either overwhelmed or just didn’t care. I might give it another try for the food, but only if they seriously improve their service. For now, I’d recommend going elsewhere if you value a attentive dining experience.

Cool new sports var in Anaheim. The restaurant is nice and spacious. We liked our drinks and the Buffalo onion rings. The nachos were alright. The menu needs some work. Vegetarian options are limited and they charge a $6 upcharge to switch out a veggie burger, which is insane. They just recently opened so I gave them a pass on the service. Was quite lively on Sunday during prime football hours

The place is clean, and has the typical sports bar feel. However, it took a very long time for a server to come to n our table to take our drink order, and then it appeared she promptly forgot us completely. It wasn’t very busy while we were there but we were on the brink of just walking out before we finally got her attention to take our order. Food was decent, but service is important. I dont plan to go back.
