We absolutely loved the orange chicken and vegetable egg rolls. Great flavor on the chicken, we ordered spicy hot and got extra spice on the side. I highly recommend checking this place out. We have dined at tons of Chinese around the country and found this to be top-notch!

Dirty and dusty inside although you cannot eat inside, it’s takeout only. The young man taking orders was very nice and polite. The food is pretty expensive and the quality is not good at all. The crab rangoon was burnt and the sweet and sour chicken is extremely soggy (because it sits in the sauce) this may work in a restaurant that you can eat in but you have to take it to go. The fried rice is almost white = no flavor and the Mongolian beef was also lacking flavor. The food was once decent but the prices continue to go up and the quality down significantly. I cannot justify this expense for the quality of the food.

Just heard about the demise. I’m so sad now, however, and honestly though, they had been pumping the brakes for the past 10 years. I’m not too sad about them retiring. I hope they are happy now!

I was so disappointed in the food we got for takeout the other day. The sweet and sour chicken was mushy and tasteless. The chicken with vegetables had dry overcooked chicken that was so salty I could barely eat it. The fried rice was fine. I was craving Chinese food for days and was so excited to try somewhere new, and unfortunately wasn’t happy

I had the vegetable Lo mein noodles, and I’m sorry but it was horrible, no flavor, and noodles were so soggy, and overly full of sodium. My husband got the Sweet and sour chicken, which lacked flavor, and chicken very soggy too. I should’ve left when noticing that prices are quite expensive. We used to go here for lunch when dining, and food was great. Just the worst Chinese food we ever had.

Have eaten here twice now, first time wasn’t horrible but wasn’t good, this time confirms I won’t order again, generals chicken and spring rolls.

The generals was just chicken, sauce and what seemed like canned peas and carrots? Most strange generals chicken I’ve ever had, with literally zero spice/flavor.

So delicious. Everyone was amazingly friendly, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was clean. I wish they would open a second restaurant in Cedar Springs, MI.

Not sure what happened to this establishment, but the food was not good, like something out of a can. Recipes aren’t the same. Was shorted on our food, we called to explain this, only to be told that’s the correct amount. My family has been eating here for the better half of 16 yrs and never had this problem. Not to mention the prices are about a 1/3 more than what we’ve paid in the past. It’s sad to say it’s just not that great to eat here anymore. Just one families opinion. God bless

It’s takeout only. The dining room is closed. Food is your general Chinese American. It’s bland, with some fresh ingredients. However, they use a lot of canned products.
Update: 2/28/24. Have tried several dishes, and it’s all the same flavor profiles with different veg and heat or no heat. Its not worth the money for what they are serving. It’s a shame; Caledonia could use a good Chinese/Korean takeout place

I’ve been eating this restaurant over 18 years. The food I have had was the Hunan shrimp, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, it was delicious. My most favorite menu was the Imperial dinner for two. The price is very reasonable and the tasty. The owner cooked so food is very consistent same tasty.
I went at least once or twice a week.
