We went here because it was the closest to the slopes and everyone was hungry. We just ordered a bunch of different things and we’re pleasantly surprised. There is not a lot of options but the stuff in the menu is fantastic. The loaded fries were amazing, and so was the Mac and cheese.

Butte 66 wasn’t bad but It’s not a place I would care to go back to. I got a meatball sub and it was just very average and same for the frys. My fiance got a burger and frys and that was average as well. It was also expensive for what it was but they can get away with that since it’s on the mountain. However i got spiked hot chocolate which was good.

I saw a lot of bad reviews so I don’t know if we got lucky or what but the food was good! We had fries and elk bratwurst i highly recommend. Sun was shining we were given a pitcher of water. It was busy yes but waitress was good and didn’t rush us. Overall great. Photo was from early in day (it got packed end of day for happy hour).

Outstanding grilled chicken sandwich and fries. I added bacon and the chicken is really nicely grilled on a real grill, still juicy, and with fries that have that crunchy outside.

Great views both in and outside, super nice servers, and a pretty good select food and drink menu. We love the Butte Burger and hot dogs. They have a nice summer pale ale that’s got a little lemon hit to it. Pretty smooth. They also have awesome salads and other flavor-popping menu items. Perfect for chilling or recovering.

The Butte burger was a good, standard burger. The nachos were honestly gross. Soggy, layers of poor quality cheese. Even for a mountainside stop, I can’t recommend it here.

This place has a great second story patio however, it lacks service and cleanliness.
The management doesn’t hold this place accountable. That’s the problem. They know they’ll get the business as it’s at the base of the mountain.

There’s beer everywhere and the drafts quit working. Save your money.

Great friendly staff, fantastic views… stay away from the margaritas though, unless you like sugar water and ice in a salt rimmed glass!

I can’t even begin to explain how highly disappointed and disgusted I am with this place. We’ve been coming out to Crested Butte for many years and have looked forward to eating here. The service in the past was always friendly and food was amazing. Sometimes slow due to high volume, which I completely get during peak season.
However, today, the place was at 50% capacity. Our waitress was completely rude and rolled her eyes at us multiple times. Our food had chicken that was still frozen And when we said something, she just glared at us and did nothing. In hindsight, I should’ve had the manager come over and sent the food back – but did not want to make a stink as I recognize how difficult it is to find personnel to work – let alone good personnel.
The prices clearly are not worth the quality of food, which has gone way downhill. Then to add insult to injury, was told that policy is to add 20% tip for parties over 6. I might have left her 15% at most due to the “lack of service” and bad attitude.
I am completely done with this place even though we love coming to Crested Butte. I do not recommend eating here. There are too many other great options in CB to choose
from.
