This place was incredible! After a bike ride from Castle Rock, we stopped in to get a quick bite to eat and we’re blown away by how delicious everything was! The homemade potato chips were crispy and fresh, with garlic and Parmesan. The fresh Swiss fondue over pretzel bites was to die for! They had classic German dishes, but also some local fusion like a hatch green Chile sauerkraut! They had a rotating selection of local sausages incorporated into traditional German preparations, and the beer selection to pair was perfect! All of that paired with a beautiful mountain backdrop, friendly and welcoming service, and outdoor biergarten cumulated to an amazing experience I can’t wait to try again! Thank you!!!

Awesome little German restaurant that is easy to pass, as you drive through the town. But completely worth the stop for some good German food and small town restaurant atmosphere! Lovely outdoor patio to sit and enjoy your meal in, around back.

The Stube exhibits expertly crafted German dishes. I was impressed with the potato fritters and curried ketchup. Also the knockwurst was locally sourced and spot on. This operation works on numerous levels. Enjoy!

Really good little hidden gem. Pretty good selection of beer, and really good food. We got the pretzel with beer cheese and it was amazing. I got the schnitzel and it was excellent. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. They also have an awesome patio out back and a cool play area for the kids.

Those are good things. The food is great and inexpensive – this is my first German restaurant. There is an actual real German person cooking in the back (he came out and talked to us), a view of the beautiful lake, and the service is personable and funny and hilarious. If you’re in the area, go there.
