You can’t go wrong with the buffalo chicken tacos and Brunswick stew. Consistent and delicious each time I visit. Other notable items: collard greens, fried okra, ribs, breakfast biscuits, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts. The owner takes her time to recognize you and ask about your visit. She clearly cares about your experience. Highly recommend both of their locations.

Over priced and pokr quality is the way here. Brisket and Turkey are $2 up charges on the platter prices, if yoy want ribs thats $4.
The brisket was almost the worst i’ve had in years. The Turkey should have been a discount, it was overcooked and flavorless outside of the abundant amount of spice that outside. So much for being spiced right. There was zero smoke ring and it looks and taste like it was cooked in a bag and crock pot.
Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

We love popping by Spice Right when we can enjoy the patio! Great atmosphere and all the staff are so friendly. You cannot go wrong with the nachos – so yummy! The brisket and blue salad is a great option and has a plentiful serving of beef! The fried jalepenos are a great starter.

We loved this place when it first opened! The food was consistently good and tasted fresh. Lately it seems like it has taken a nose dive.
At first they didn’t have eggs for the entree salad and then it started tasting like they never change the fryer grease (my husband used to love the chicken fingers). The bbq chicken started tasting dry and then one of our friends, that we brought there, got sick to their stomach. Also, the ribs my son liked stopped being worth the price, they were too fatty.
I don’t want people to get this confused with 6 Bridges because even though the bar is in the restaurant the quality and management isn’t the same.

Just want to state up front that this review is about Spiced Right, not the excellent Six Bridges (though more on that in a sec). Spiced Right has never had the best reputation in town for BBQ but the experience at this location is consistently and desperately mediocre. The staff are generally friendly (though I’ve seen some questionable hygiene practices at the counter) but the food is always deficient in some way or another. Might be weird crunchy bits in the chicken, might be brisket that looks like it was boiled rather than barbecued, might be pulled pork with zero flavor, might be oddly small “smoked” wings that are incredibly dry, might be fried pickles and jalapeños that are 90% jalapeños and 10% pickles, might be something else. There’s always something. It’s very expensive for what it is, and I’d personally be embarrassed to serve it if it were my restaurant.
Why do we keep punishing ourselves? We eat here almost weekly since we love to do music bingo at Six Bridges and have done so for 2+ years, so we’ve got tons of experience with this place. The best I can say is that they’ve gotten more consistent with the mediocrity over that period – it was often worse in the past. I don’t know what arrangement Six Bridges has with Spiced Right but I hope it can be changed, because at some point soon, loyal customers like ourselves are going to go somewhere else (Voodoo?) for a better food experience. Six Bridges is excellent all around, but Spiced Right is doing real damage at the Crabapple location.

YIKES. Food poisoning from Spiced Right Ribhouse Crabapple. They claim to use beef tallow but somehow their food is still so dry??? On top of that, WORST “Brunswick Stew” I’ve ever had. Acidic and tasted like barely seasoned tomato sauce as if they don’t know what a Brunswick Stew even is. Not very friendly either. They have the privilege of being in such a well-trafficked busy bar you’d think they’d try to be proud of the food they make but instead they’re rude and gave me food poisoning. Lol. It’s been years of sub-par food and customer service so at this point I don’t know how they stay open. Only open because people there would rather have convenience. Nobody at this bar is eating the food there because it’s good. I’ve however literally walked two blocks to a restaurant and then back just to not have to consume this trash bbq. I can’t even call it “Yankee” because I am a Yankee and we would never serve this depravity of food. Always out of the banana pudding too. Probably for the best since they food poisoned me once. My ex ate at the other Spiced Right location in Roswell and he also said it was gross and dry and he never complained about food. Would never eat at a Spiced Right near me again.

I don’t think it’s fair to review the atmosphere for what is essentially a counter to order food in an outstanding brewery, so I’ll leave that at a 1.
The food has continued to go down hill in quality (and perhaps quantity) since their opening. There are teens (not their fault) taking orders and bringing the food, so there is really little, if any recourse if something is wrong. We’ll order wings when they’re $1 and they are typically not even worth that. I was up-charged $2 to have a sprinkling of shredded cheese added to my buffalo chicken tacos…a sprinkling is generous in description, what a joke at $6 extra for 3 tacos…never again.
When they opened it was alright, but presently we try to eat before attending any events at the brewery.
Let me be clear that Six Bridges is outstanding and should be reviewed as a separate entity.
UPDATE: and now folks are leaving fake reviews on here…Billy Allen working at Spiced Right? Okay…April Fools is over a month away.

If you’re anywhere near Milton and craving real-deal Southern barbecue, Spiced Right Ribhouse in Crabapple is the spot you need to hit. The food is exactly what you want from a ribhous…smoky, tender, and packed with flavor, but what truly sets this place apart is the hospitality.
I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Billy Allen, and he turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience. Billy has that rare gift of making you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. He knows the menu inside and out, checks on you at the perfect times, and carries himself with the kind of professionalism and warmth you just don’t see often anymore. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and the reputation of the place.
Between the incredible ribs, the laid-back Crabapple vibe, and service that feels like Southern hospitality at its finest, Spiced Right Ribhouse has absolutely earned its five stars. I’ll be back soon…and I’ll be asking for Billy.

This family owned BBQ spot has great food and super friendly staff. Can’t go wrong getting the pork sandwich, smoked wings, and buffalo chicken tacos. Everything has great smokey flavor and you can tell its all made in house. I will be back again and again!

If there was an Olympics for BBQ in Roswell this joint would get a Gold Medal. They have the best ribs on the planet and they also have really great breakfasts. Spiced Right Rocks.
