I came to McDonald’s today, I walked through the snow and ice just to get a simple sprite and a Diet Coke for my sister. I have sat here for 20 minutes waiting for them to just put a lid on my drink and hand it to me. I can literally see my two drinks in the back sitting there. They have sat there for 15 minutes. I have never been so angry. And the fact is they keep on taking new orders and not handing me mine and this is ridiculous that I’ve had to wait for 20 minutes for my two drinks. Does it really take that much effort to put a lid on a drink? I mean seriously the drinks aren’t even going to be good after sitting there for that long. And then we finally get our drinks at 2:25 so we’ve been there 20 minutes they didn’t even give us a straw so then we asked for straws the worker said yeah then 3 minutes if her running back and forth to the register and to the back and I got frustrated and I left. Absolutely ridiculous.

This McDonald’s is a bit of a hit or miss although I can’t speak for the entirety of the menu. I’ve lived here for years and though I’m an advocate of change in many ways, when it comes to food I remain a creature of habit, and Ive only had a few items off the menu. The chicken biscuit here is unmatched, they use real chicken breast (unlike the chicken nugget meat) which I’ve only experienced at a few Mcdonald’s location while some use the ultra processed chicken. The only issues I’ve had are that sometimes they get the chicken so hot I burn my mouth and parts of my tongue are numb for the week following. Another staple menu item of mine is the Iced coffee. I always get a vanilla coffee. I learned the hard way that if you say iced vanilla “latte” the Large is smaller and more expensive and they put significantly less coffee in it in every location. Iced Vanilla “Coffee” has gotten me a decent vanilla latte in the true large cup at this location and all the others i’ve visited. The ambience is fine it very much gives, hotel lobby/ just passing through vibes. Food is okay the best thing on their menu was the chicken strips and i believe they’ve been discontinued. Now for the most important part of this review: I have never gotten food poisoning from this location. If you’re just passing through this is a relatively safe Mcdonald’s.
