Such a good place! I usually order through Doordash, but this time I decided to eat in person with a friend and it was her first time trying pounded yam, egusi, cassava leaf and puff puff. Best thing ever! Owner was super nice and gave us recommendations on what to try next time we come back. She is so sweet. Please come here!!!! I will definitely come in person than ordering through a third party app next time. I love how her restaurant feels like you were in your mom’s/grandma’s house eating authentic food, and love the afrobeat music playing <3

I really wanted to like Mosun’s Kitchen, but it was disappointing. The portion was small for the price, and I was charged more than what the menu listed. I ordered the jollof platter with beef and plantains, and it honestly tasted like it had been reheated a few times. The plantains were super hard and really dry.

The restaurant was clean, and the older lady who took my order was very sweet, which makes me feel bad even saying this. The service wasn’t the problem. I just wish the food quality matched the prices.

This was my first time trying Nigerian food, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but overall, it was a pretty solid experience! I ordered the pounded yam with cassava leaf and beef. Initially, I wanted fufu, but the cashier recommended starting with the yam, which turned out to be a great suggestion.

At first glance, there were just three cubes of beef, but when broken apart, it was a generous amount of meat. The flavor was absolutely delicious! While the beef was slightly dry and the sauce a bit oily on their own, mixing everything together created a perfect balance. The pounded yam offset the dryness of the beef and brought the whole dish together beautifully. It’s amazing how the flavors and textures blend in your mouth, creating a satisfying meal.

I’ll definitely be returning to explore more items on the menu! I do think the price is reasonable $25 (with a drink) for what you are getting.

Also the restaurant was very clean.

Nigeria/African restaurant. The establishment has an extensive variety of Nigerian dishes on the menu. Found the place to be clean and homely. Also, the proprietor was friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, the food was delicious and portion was generous.

My food was excellent! I ordered cassava leaves, in wasn’t sure how it was prepared or what meat was available, but the customer service was so great, he helped me decide on my order. The food is fresh, flavorful and was made to order. I didn’t eat in, but would, the seating area was clean and inviting. Definitely going back to try the red pepper stew

The food wasn’t as expected. As a Yoruba man, I ordered pounded yam and Efo. It was way less than what I expected as the efo was sour. The Asun too should better be called peppered meat and not asun because it was just soaked in some stew. The prices too are not matching the quality of meal.

I came here with some friends and the food(fried plantain, suya, and egusi ) we ordered were disappointing. The cashier was so rude and argumentative. Poor customer service. The food is definitely not worth price.

Everything was delicious & the customer service was phenomenal. This was my first time eating Nigerian & first time at Mosun’s Kitchen. At checkout, there are written and visual menus which helped to ease the ordering process (especially for those like myself who aren’t familiar with Nigerian cuisines).

Other things to consider:
•clean, friendly, & vibrant atmosphere
•tables are well-spaced for social distancing

Will definitely return!

The menu had lots of item to order from. The food was definitely delicious, hot and spicy to taste as ordered but a bit pricey. They did not dissappoint. The pictures on the wall were quite entertaining. Clean and calm environment. Superb and friendly customer service.

I would have better pictures to post…but we gobbled the food down so fast, we forgot to take some. These were 3 of the most delicious meals I have had in a long time. They have made me a customer for life.
